Recommend highly. They only had two weeks to prepare my disability case, and it was a VERY tricky disability case. But the hearing went great. Mr. Sexton was supremely prepared and had me also prepared for the process. Other attorneys I had spoken with prior to Avard wanted me to jump through all kinds of hoops to prove to SSA that I was disabled. Avard did not. They simply went by the facts and the law and I won my case. Thank you Mr. Sexton.

Great firm, very detailed oriented kept me informed every step of the way on my daughter's case. Took my daughter's case not only once but twice and had a successful hearing each time. Recommend them to anyone searching for a Social Security Attorney.

I looks like Avard law has helped many just by looking at other reviews, HOWEVER, I have not had the same outcome as others. I have been waiting over 4 years now, with no resolution. I can't seem to reach anyone that is familiar with my case because it has been passed around so much. Doug Mahoney has been able to convince me a couple of times that he had my case under control and he felt confident, which in turn, gave me hope, but as I mentioned , nothing has happened yet other than... .Years of stress. It is taking a huge toll. We have lost our home. I have had to move several times due to years of no income. Relationships .. destroyed due to my inability to help myself financially. I fully understand the financial hardships I've caused others. I feel terrible about it. My case should not have been a difficult one. I have documented and kept the office updated, call for information about every week, I have literally had melt downs and panic attacks... Extreme blood pressure issues over the constant stress I have been under. So many different people have had my case that I feel like it's total chaos. Every new person that gets involved with my case, makes me feel as though I am starting all over again. I am at the mercy of friends. I know I can't keep on depending on others and if I have ever felt like I've hit rock bottom , it has been since becoming disabled and relying on help from my Attorney , no movement on my case, the inability to pay for the smallest items... or bills that I need to live. I am a complete mess. Another holiday.... No answers, nothing to look forward to, other than feeling like a burden to those allowing me to stay with them. I won't be able to see my Children or Granddaughter for Christmas.... Needless to say, I am very disappointed and depressed. I owe so many people for their help, a visit with my children would not be, by any means, be an option for me. I am happy for those that Avard may have been able to help. If there are others in my situation, I am so sorry. I think I've just slipped through the cracks. Happy Holidays to everyone they have helped.

I was pleased overall with this law firm. They did win my case, so it was a win...win for both of us. They were responsive, reassuring and patient even when I wasn't. A big thanks to the whole Avard team.
