I was up against 2 lawyers, my soon to be ex and his attorney. I needed the best so I hired Ms. Harrington. She handled my extremely complicated and contentious divorce with tremendous skill and professionalism. She helped me understand Florida divorce law, explained the process clearly and answered my many questions. Ms. Harrington gave me the confidence I desperately need to make it through one of the most difficult times in my life.

When two people just can’t work it out, sadly divorce is sometimes necessary. It is imperative that you find someone who will look out for your best interest and also help you navigate the whole process. I contacted Jennifer Harrington in Sept 2021 to start the divorce process. My ex-husband and I had been married for 11 years and have 2 young children. We also had a large house, land and assets that needed to be dealt with. Divorce is one of the most devastating things to go through. Jennifer was so understanding of what I was feeling and helped me sort it all out even when emotions were high for me. I stated the things that were the most important to me and she made sure to make my wishes heard and did an amazing job getting me everything I was seeking. If I ever had a question or a concern she was super prompt about getting back to me either via email or a personal phone call or text. We had to wait until our home and property sold before we could finalize the divorce but on March 1, 2022 we did sign off on everything. Jennifer made a really difficult time in my life manageable and she was definitely my back bone and strength throughout the entire process. If I had to do it all over again (thank goodness I don’t!) I would hire Jennifer again in an instant and I highly recommend her to anyone about to start their divorce.

Jennifer Harrington and her staff were consistently helpful while representing me during a very difficult divorce process. She was a well prepared, assertive, "no drama," attorney. Always courteous and respectful even in the most uncomfortable of circumstances, Jennifer recognized the importance of those qualities during and after the divorce process. Jennifer represented me in a Florida Child Custody and financial support dispute with my ex wife. Her work outclassed my ex-wife's work and we won at every stage of the litigation. Jennifer is an excellent lawyer whom I've had fighting for me in court for 6 years. She's helped me through my divorce and then through an alimony case. I worked with Ms. Harrington related to a post divorce custody issue. I switched from my prior attorney who did not have the skills for my issues (post dissolution refusal of parenting coordination and attempt to change custody) . Ms. Harrington and her staff was always professional and was well prepared for meetings and telephone calls. Her advice was sound and I never felt pressured to move to trial or "go to war and spend heavy". While Jennifer's advice and counsel keep us out of trial I was confident that if we needed to go she would be successful. I am a divorce attorney, who went through a divorce. The irony of that is not lost on me. Recalling a saying "an attorney representing herself has a fool for a client", I knew I needed an attorney. Jennifer was very professional, honest and supportive as I dealt with a 3 year process to divorce my attorney husband of almost 30 years.
