Recently, I hired Rex for a felony and a misdemeanor charge for my son and he did an awesome job on the case . He explained everything to me thoroughly and made sure I understood the whole thing. I consulted Rex Blake on behalf of a family member. He met with my cousin and my cousin decided he wanted Rex Blake to be his attorney. I then employed Mr. Blake on behalf of my cousin. We felt Mr. Blake was truthful, very clear with respect to possible consequences, and proactive in forming s defense. We feel his representation resulted in a much less severe penalty than was requested by the prosecution. Mr. Blake was very clear to me what the costs were, since I was paying them. Attorney Rex Blake currently represents me and has done so for a little over a year. Rex is an elite Attorney who is highly respected by his colleagues. I was looking at spending time in prison when I retained him. The Prosecution was not budging and things were not looking good, so I began to get my affairs in order to prepare for the looming fact that I would be gone for several years. However, Rex managed to negotiate an alternative sentence that enabled me the chance to serve my sentence without having to leave my family for several years. He also had two separate warrants (for the same case) for my arrest withdrawn after taking the time to speak with the Judge and Prosecutor. Both warrants were technical violations while on Probation. I didn't spend one minute in jail, with the exception of the original arrest, and I was able to walk out of the court without being arrested again. As a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, there is a term called "command presence". The term defines it as "The ability to project your position as one of authority in a professional sense, to others in your environment. How you are perceived by those around you." That hits the nail right on the head. With that being said, Rex is a skilled negotiator, exercises precise attention to detail, and knows the law like the back of his hand. I know that sounds funny to say since he's an Attorney, but you'd be surprised how little some Attorneys know. Rex has had my best interest in mind since the day that I hired him. Whether it's good, bad, or ugly, Rex is honest. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position needing a Lawyer, Rex is your guy and he'll fight tooth and nail for you to get the best possible results. Mr. Blake successfully defended me in a jury trial without flaw. Having only 1 witness testifying for the defense and 3 witnesses found by the prosecution, Mr. Blake aggressively maneuvered past the prosecutions case through a few very clever tactics, one being exposing a false testimony bringing the legitimacy of the prosecution into question. Needless to say, Mr. Blake got me a not guilty verdict and was very professional, knowledgeable, well-spoken and compassionate in every event we spoke. Rex Blake is an awesome lawyer. He's young enough to respond to text messages in the middle of the night and experienced enough to know what he is up against and be ready to make the next move.
