I was served by a major credit card company on two different accounts. We were sued by our landlord after we left our home in broom swept condition. Our landlord claimed we failed to give notice for our deposit and damaged his property. We were very surprised as we had walked through the property with the landlord prior to vacating. As such, we had no photographs of the condition of the property. We hired Mr. Bachand. He gathered all the necessary information. He tried the case for two days. The judge ruled in our favor and awarded us fees and costs against the landlord. I recommend you hire an attorney if you are involved in a lawsuit. Mr. Bachand was very attentive to my medical issues and made me feel the most comfortable in a very uncomfortable position. I was sued by an institutional creditor for a student loan. Unbeknownst to me, the institution had obtained a judgment against me without my knowledge. I first learned of the judgment when I contacted Mr. Bachand for an unrelated matter. I retained Mr. Bachand and he promptly filed all the necessary documents to remove the judgment. Mr. Bachand promptly moved the case to a position where the institution dismissed the case with prejudice. As a result, the institution can never again sue to recover on this alleged debt!
