We used Jodi for a real estate purchase in the Miami area in 2023. On the pro side, she seemed nice, experienced, and competent, and ultimately got our deal over the finish line. On the other hand, there were several things we did not like about working with her: * We did not sign an engagement letter... * So it wasn't clear if she was representing us or herself or the State of Florida * Though her fees ultimately were reasonable, they were not clear. * Jodi was often hard to reach and I was left frustrated by her lack of responsiveness. * We felt unprepared at the closing table and was presented with documents to sign and settlement numbers to approve that I hadn't seen previously and didn't have time to check. * We tried reaching with a few post-closing questions, but she was unresponsive. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it wasn't a great one either.

I would like to thank Jodi and her staff for assisting us with our first-time home buying experience. They were so quick, efficient, and responsive that we were even able to move up our closing date. The closing went extremely smoothly and Jodi took the time to explain each page of the closing documents during the signing process. We are very grateful for the excellent job they did and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Excellent experience. Jodi took a bad a situation and made it better. Buyer's bank pulled loan at last minute and we had to extend two more times - creating a great deal of work for Jodi's firm. I am not a Realtor, but I have personally bought and sold 20+ properties in my lifetime, so its safe to say I have some experience with these transactions :-). I've done my last 6 closings with Strang Law. I wouldn't even consider going to anyone else other Jodi ever again. She has an incredible attention to detail and I can always rest easy knowing she has my best interest protected. She will always make an ethically-sound decision even its an unpopular one. Working with Jodi has been the epitome of professionalism. She even found and rectified a situation a previous closing agent left me exposed to! You can tell she loves what she does because she is the best at it. Not all Real Estate attorneys are created equal, I learned that through personal trial-and-error. Jodi was our counsel on 3 different real estate transactions. She did a terrific job for a reasonable price. She made the closings easy and picked up a variety of issues that I hadn’t considered. Very reliable and terrific service. I would highly recommend her and will use her in the future.

Jodi Adams was, by far, the most unprofessional attorney I’ve ever encountered in any transaction. She was beyond unpleasant, extremely abrasive, and in our opinion, downright incompetent. She managed to turn a simple real estate closing into a nightmare for all parties. The “highlight” was when she spoke negatively about us, her paying clients and while the representation was ongoing, in written correspondence to the other party’s counsel while putting us on CC on that email. No professional with self dignity, let alone a professional with a fiduciary duty, should act like that for any reason. To make things worse, she also tried to collect a higher fee than the range she quoted us in writing following our initial consultation. We filed a complaint against her with the Florida Bar and truly hope she gets disbarred. Until then, we highly recommend avoiding her. She might charge less than other attorneys, but there’s a good reason for it.

As a realtor, there are few things more important than building a partnership with an incredible real estate attorney. Jodi and her team at Strang-Adams offer expert guidance, professionalism, and top-notch customer service. They patiently held my hand through my first year as a realtor and have won my business for life. I definitely recommend Strang-Adams wholeheartedly-- they truly are South Florida's best!

Jodi Strang assisted me during a very difficult and trying period in my life between 2008 and 2013. Subsequent to the crash of 2008 I found myself with three properties that had a combined loss in value of almost $3,000,000.00, putting me in a substantial negative equity position. Two of those properties had 2nd lien positions of approximately the same amount as the first, making it very difficult to obtain deficiency judgment waivers from all the lenders, for which I was insistent on having at the time of the transfers of all the titles. We finally sold and closed on the last property in March of 2013, for which Jodi was instrumental in negotiating deficiency judgement waivers for me of almost $2,000;000.00. I had numerous experiences involving conference calls with realtors and buyers attorneys, wherein I was able to ascertain that Jody is very sharp and professional when engaging in these types of discussions. I am very thankful and appreciative that Jodi hung in with me until the end, when many times the task seemed almost insurmountable. My recognition and appreciation of Jody's accomplishments in these matters is not intended in any way to take away from the fact that my trust is in a higher power, but only that she was very instrumental in getting the job accomplished to my great satisfaction.

A reliable friend recommended Jodi, and I am so glad I contacted her. I would like to say that Jodi was a life saver to me. She heard my case with an excellent understanding of the situation which instilled my trust and I decided to follow her advise. She called the other party and quickly negotiated a solution. I am impressed with her human quality, willingness to help and with her sharp professional skills that keep focus on getting a positive outcome. I will require her services again next time I buy real estate.

The experience during the process of a purchase for a Condo in Miami was excellet. I will parter with Jodi again in the future and i will highly recommend her firm to anyone that would like to buy a unit in Miami.
