Moving on today to a new law firm. Use anyone but them. Even represent yourself.

What a great experience! From my intake meeting alone, I felt welcome and supported. A special thanks to Layla, who was incredibly helpful, engaging and understanding as she guided me through the process. For anyone unfortunate enough to be dealing with HOA issues like I was, I highly recommend this firm.

Definitely would not recommend this law firm I presented them my case show them the state statue basically did their job and instead of giving me legal advice which I paid over $7000 to get they wasted my time and money for no outcome whatsoever even though I was not sued or in any type of violation which they know I wasn’t they probably took my money and did absolutely nothing and then they have the audacity to tell me I have a refund for $120 I told him to keep it if you guys like to waste your money and get no outcome please hire this firm because they will take your money and pretend to work on your case and charge you all these hours for no Reason I would not trust this law firm for anything

Most incompetent law firm. Worse than my HOA. I was told Perez Mayoral submitted my document to the HOA over the phone. When I asked the lawyer for the HOA if he received it, he had no clue what I was talking about. When I accused Perez Mayoral of lying to me, they denied our conversation ever happened. Moving forward the owner insisted I have a phone call with him to discuss. I said I would if I could record the call. He said no way and that it would be illegal if I did. Imagine your own lawyer not wanting you to record your conversation. That is suspect! Two times I had phone calls with them, they always denied what transpired on those calls. Furthermore, my lawyer would inform me of what the plaintiff could do after the plaintiff taught my lawyer various aspects of the law. My lawyer at Perez was essentially learning on my dime. If you must use these incompetent lawyers, do not do phone calls. Keep everything in writing. But, I would encourage you to go pro se. I paid $7,000 to Perez and they didn’t even file the lawsuit. You will waste a ton of money. Since this encounter, I have been using ChatGPT to file motions and represent myself. Hopefully soon lawyers will become obsolete. Most lawyers are worse than the people they litigate against. It’s a shame.
