I was fighting with my short term disability and I was getting absolutely no where. They would not return my calls and never sent me anything by mail that I asked for including my policy and even my denial. The only call I got was the denial call. Not only did she understand what I was going through but was there to comfort and help me understand how we can fight back to get what I rightfully deserved and what I paid for in premiums. I will say it wasn't any easy process dealing with the disability company with the short term appeal and the long term disability application. What made the difference was having someone on my side that new the law and what needed to be done to get them to approve my claim. I even had to undergo a Functional capacity test which really helped my case and could be very beneficial to your case. My job was very labor demanding and my health diagnosis makes it impossible for me to continue this job field and will definitely impact my future employment.
