I was connected with Kevin Schaefer when I called Dadoub in desperation to resolve having had my disability claim denied. I'd just gotten off the phone with my insurance case manager and felt sick of the runaround she and her colleagues kept giving me and sick of being treated like I was some sort of lying slacker when I was in fact sick and unable to work. Kevin listened to me, gave me good strategies to fight back with facts and more knowledge of my rights, and simply made me feel like not giving up. His advice worked and my denial was overturned--with as little reason given as i got for the denial in the first place. I wish I'd known this kind of support was out there from day one of filing a disability claim. It's the worst time in your life to have financial stress on top of everything else. If you are reading this, you are like me. I spent days, hours, and countless emails with various law firms all over the state of Florida. Unlike everyone else, including local law firms in Tampa and Lakeland I was not taken seriously or I was asked to call somewhere else. I was DESPERATE for help with my Long Term Disability case.
