After almost two years of divorce litigation, my ex-husband filed a petition to modify the agreements a few months later. He was attempting to change my dealbreakers which had been highly negotiated prior to final judgement. I then had a nightmare string of bad attorneys and spent almost $100k in legal fees in order to protect my children and myself and keep the original agreement. Before the trial, I consulted with Rick Schurr. I was scared to change attorneys again, however felt doomed if I stayed with the one I currently had who did not prep witnesses, nor did she secure their availability for an extremely important child related hearing.
