I contacted this law firm looking for a lawyer to represent me on a long term disability benefits case I have, hoping they would help as I tried to hire a lawyer in California but they were so busy that it would had taken a year or longer before they could start working on my case, other well known firms would have an intake person write my information and pass it to their lawyers to see if they were interested in taking my case. I got tired of waiting for a call back and came accross Geanina Burgos from great reviews on google and I contacted this firm. I was appealing and was almost denied when I spoke to her after 3 months that had already passed since the first call with her. She was very friendly and willing to take my case. She believed in me and insisted she could win my case. I begs. To work with her and was very pleased of how they handled my case. Geanina is super organized and her staff was very friendly and they responded immediately and kept me informed at every step of the case. My case appeal was denied and we went to mediation where I decided to settle. She is a very profesional and smart lady and looked out for my interests. I FOUND REAL HELP WITH KEVIN! I was diagnosed with chronic heart failure.... I needed my short term disability and felt I was in no condition to deal with reading the insurance policy nor claim docs and interviews etc. since most of the time fatiqued, dizzy and with nausea not to mention foggy brain function from all my meds. I consulted a few attorneys and finally was impressed and hired KEVIN SCHAEFER. Without a doubt a nice person! He returned my call and replied to my emails promptly ! He filed the claim. Process took a while but all payments due have been paid. Subsequently transitioned to long term care policy and that also took a while but claim was approved on 4/26. From the first time I spoke to Nina Burgos, she put my nerves at ease. I was totally comfortable with her. She believed in me and my medical condition wholeheartedly. She advised me on which documents were needed for my case. There was a time when I asked myself whether or not all the effort was worth it. That’s a question most of us disabled people ask themselves. Especially when our health limits us to only a minimal amount of up time. Nina was a big reason why I kept at it. I am Jody Castle; I am posting this from my wife's account due to trouble with my account. I apologize for the length of this review but it's difficult to cram 5 years of good experiences in one review. Here we go Geanninna, works for Dabdoub Law Firm better known as Nina by her clients. I can't say enough kind words and praise that would explain how well I was treated by Nina as a person, and her professionalism is unmatched in any field. I held a position in upper management for several years and I recognize talent when its present, Nina, has the attitude and the aptitude to perform any task she takes on at an admirable pace and has an excellent performance record. I was injured after work one day and before hiring Nina I would try to get the insurance company to talk with me directly and most times I couldn't get the long-term disability company to return my calls it would take multiple attempts to finally get in touch with someone BTW I never talked to the same person twice, I was told that I didn't have long-term disability even though it was clear that I had purchased the plan and even after I provided the insurance company proof that I was paying the premiums and the premiums were clearly being deducted from my paycheck they stood their ground and told me I didn't have long term disability. It looked like it was hopeless. I can't remember how I found about Dabdoub Law Firm but after getting the contact information I think I contacted the Firm the same day. I called them and Nina took my case immediately. Within 2 weeks I was approved to receive the benefits due to me because Nina understood my situation and she fought hard with the insurance company and was very kind and professional throughout the entire process. My disability turned out to be so bad that I will not be able to return to work at any time. I received monthly benefits for 5 years and I never missed a payment from the insurance company thanks to Nina, her assistants, and Dabdoub Law Firm. I approached Nina with the possibility of receiving a buyout from the insurance company and she told me she would methodically contact the insurance company and approach the insurance company in a very professional manner and discuss the possibility of a buyout. She was persistent, patient (much more patient and professional than I was) and she handled herself in a professional manner. After the proper amount of time passed it worked out exactly the way she said it would. A short time later out of nowhere we received an offer without solicitation, we both thought the offer was a little bit low, but it was a good offer based on the circumstances. After reviewing the first offer Nina discussed our options and she started immediately working on negotiations and by the way I consider her to be a master negotiator. She was able to negotiate a higher payment in less than 2 weeks and I will receive the first of 2 payments before my monthly benefits payment is due to come in. Also, she was able to negotiate what I consider to be a very fair settlement. The rates for their services are great, the performance I witnessed is unmatched by any one person or team of people I have worked with during a 36-year career in cryogenics and fractionation. Nina and her assistants are amazing and without a doubt Nina exceeded all of my expectations. I very rarely write a review about anything or anyone but due to the extraordinary experience I had with Nina and her assistants I would like to give them the highest praise possible for a Job well done. I would like to end by saying that there were times that I wasn't very professional at all due to the stress of trying to manage my monthly commitments, but Nina and her assistants were professional even when I wasn't. Oh yeah and she is very beautiful as well.

My wife and I were very happy on the services provided to us by the Law Firm especially Kevin and staff as we tried to settle with the Insurance company regarding my wife's long term disability benefits.
