I had started the process of bringing my fiancé over on a K1 visa. We had found an attorney who got us through the initial application process but they were non-responsive; often taking multiple emails, voicemails and weeks before getting an answer. We parted with the firm when my fiancé arrived in the US. We decided we could rely on our own research and submit the final paperwork on our own.
