I was on the sell side of a recent real estate transaction, and Ms. Salcines was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire experience. She's responsive, efficient and just gets things done with minimal inconvenience and a high degree of competence. I've bought and sold a few properties before, and this was the smoothest of all closings. If you're looking for a real estate attorney (buy or sell side), I would highly recommend her.

I entered into a real estate contract without retaining an attorney to represent me and instead I agreed to use the Sellers’ attorney as the realtor had suggested. I raised concerns to be addressed within my inspection contingency period to which the sellers never responded. I was past my contingency period with a very large escrow already paid, an appraisal valuation that was questionably higher than my offer and my financing was already firmly in place. I reached out to Ms. Salcines 2 days after the inspection contingency period was past as I didn’t feel comfortable with the way the transaction was being managed. She responded to my email within 15 minutes asking for the contract. I retained Ms. Salcines the same day, and she immediately reached out to the Sellers’ attorney and the realtor introducing herself. She also spent a lot of time reviewing the communication between the realtor and I to understand if the transaction was being handled professionally and ethically. In summary, there were quite a number of issues/concerns identified by Ms. Salcines and I was knee deep in a terrible situation. This house was overvalued by ~$300k in the appraisal report and with no contingency left, I would be obligated to close. I am forever grateful to Ms. Salcines for an incredibly quick response, her professionalism and diligence. Within 2 days of retaining her, she was successful in getting the Sellers to cancel the contract refunding me 100% of the escrow. I will never go to a closing table from here onward or sign any contract without Ms. Salcines’. She is very knowledgeable, professional, reliable and attentive. I highly recommend her as she genuinely safeguards your interest like it is her own.
