We think Ellen and her team (Lyn and Maggie) are terrific. She did our placement and was our lawyer for an out-of-state adoption (we're the adoptive parents), and we felt well informed and well advocated-for every step of the way. She cares a lot about her work, and she's clearly a zealous advocate for her clients, which we appreciated when the hospital where our child was born tried to give us the runaround on some insurance stuff--Ellen stepped in and took care of business. And she gets to the point, which we appreciated. Given our experience, her fees are entirely reasonable. We intend to adopt again and definitely will sign up with her for it.

Ellen, Lynn, Jim, and Maggie were there for me every step of the way. My case was complicated and time consuming but Ms.Kaplan fought for my rights and my precious baby is now prospering and growing with her loving adoptive parents. Thank you to Kaplan and her staff forever!

Just a few weeks ago, we traveled to Florida for an adoption. Ms. Kaplan and her entire office were amazing from the very beginning! We have been waiting for almost 2 years now and have worked with lots of attorneys and agencies. I mean it when I say she is one of the best. She was very informative each step of the way, calling us personally to update us. Adoption is such an emotional journey and we felt like everyone from Ms. Kaplan's office genuinely cared about us and for us.

Not being able to conceive due to PCOS. I saw a post Ellen posted on a FB site about adoption. I was excited... I emailed Ellen and asked for guidance as to what the process was to adopt. This story is quite lengthy but what I will say is I NEVER experience or thought a woman in her position that brings families together would be so cold and callus in the emails. I have copies to share. Not supportive at ALL!!!!! One of her responses back to me in one of the email was..... I don't know what a PCOS is. I was hurt. I felt belittle and so disappointed. I prayed so hard in hoping to become a mom but the experience with Ellen was horrific. To become so numb to people who are trying to provide a loving home to a child and a dream of being a parent.

My husband and I hired Ellen Kaplan as our adoption attorney three different times. Each experience was great! Ms. Kaplan and her office staff were easy to work with, always prompt and courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. I would and have recommended her to my friends and family.

Our adoption of our daughter was a great experience with Ellen Kaplans office We learned the adoption process and we're taught and educated from start to finish on all we needed to know to adopt our baby girl!

My teenage sister was pregnant and decided on adoption. Ellen provided encouragement and guidance and took great care finding just the right adoptive parents. My sister gets to hear how her baby is doing and she is very happy with her choice. I hope less people choose abortion and instead, seek adoption service like Ellen Kaplan provides.
