Bob is an attorney who cares and who will NOT nickel and dime you to death. Our divorce had many unique issues such as my ex lives in another state. Also, my ex was abusive to both me and our kids, he’d lie, he’d threaten me, and he wanted most of the parenting time, even though he’d rarely been a part of the kids’ life and hadn’t seen them in years. He did a good job

I was looking for an attorney with experience with an out of state divorce. I was referred to this office and was told so many great things about Mr.Stepniak so my expectations were very high and let me me tell you he is the guy you want to fight for your family. Jill, the paralegal and Tamara, the office assistant are amazing at communicating with you and making you feel cared about as a person, especially during a very trying time in your life. This firm is exactly who you should hire to represent you!

On September 7 I contacted the office. My husband is a senior citizen with multiple health issues. When the Doctors get his meds out of whack he goes into mania. I was fed up with the mania and considering divorce. The office told me it would be $2000 they charged my credit card then emailed me the paperwork. The following morning I contacted the office to advise them I was not moving forward. Mr Stepniak got on the phone and tried to push me forward on something I obviously was not ready to do. I offered to pay the consult fee and requested a refund since I was not going to use his services. I received several emails from Tamara over the next few days pushing for me to so the paperwork, which I had told her I was not doing on the 8th. On Wednesday September 14 I advised Tamara again I would not be moving forward and requested a refund. Today, I received a statement. They gave a 50% refund and choose to keep $1000 in case I decided to retain the firm again, the $1000 would be in my account. If i have been saying i dont want to use your services for over a week why would you keep $ 1000 incase i change my mind? Now Tamara is telling me its their time involved. 95% of their time involved was them trying to push me forward. Sad part is I thought Mr. Stepniak was an okay guy and would of used him for other legal issues. I just felt extreme pressure from both him and Tamara to move forward with a divorce I'm not sure I want. I needed more legal help with my husband's condition than anything and would of gladly paid his hourly fee for council. However, this was a desperate attempt to snatched a thousand. That gives me with zero confidence in then as a firm.
