Can I give ZERO STARS??? Sent me off with the worst parenting plan ever created-so open ended and I was taken advantage off left and right by my ex. I ended up having to go to court to settle on days and times. He also never added the settlement of my house deed on my Marital Settlement paperwork, so I am heading to court AGAIN to sort it out. Do not use this attorney. He was extremely unprofessional and did very poorly by me. Whatever could have gone wrong DID and now I am paying for it.

If you need help with a problematic divorce this firm has your back. Take a chance on them. You will not regret it. I contacted The Law Office of Armistead Ellis to represent me due to a spouse dodging the divorce process. I yhought i would never get this farce finished. This firm helped me got this resolved and fast. Best Birthday present to myself ever. I am free and it is all thanks to them. Mr. Ellis was hired on a reference of another father that he helped. Mr. Ellis is very subtle, sometimes making you wonder if your fight for your child will ever come to an end, but what he was doing and unfortunately doing again for me (my ex is taking me back to court again. This will be three threats in four years from her and this thirrd one will be active) is laying the road work. He is very up front of what he expects from you as the parent, how long it is going to take and how much it will cost. Over the last four years, he has sat for hours helping me to keep our son safe and healthy with not a penny out of pocket for it. He’s well known in the courts and knows what paths to take and not take. He’s been worth every dollar and I wouldn’t trust the future in any other attorney’s hands.

Biff was very informative. He really explained my options. He told me what to expect and didn't pressure me into filing a bankruptcy right now. I will come back to see him when, or if, I get sued by a credit card company.

I retained Mr. Armistead Ellis to modify my child support in August of 2012. From the beginning I should’ve paid attention to all the red flags using him because of his unprofessional practice. It took months (approximately 3 months) for my ex-wife to be served because Mr. Ellis didn’t have the correct address. My calls to Mr. Ellis where hardly ever returned. I would have to call every week to get an update on my case. My ex-wife’s attorney even complained about Mr. Ellis office not returning their calls as well. This led to over 1 year of excuse after excuse from his office. I finally terminated Mr. Ellis in August of 2013 and settled my case with my ex-wife on my own. I wasted money, time, and got nothing but stress dealing with his practice. I also experienced some borderline conflict of interest issues with Mr. Ellis that he failed to disclose with me when I first retained him. I would not recommend his services to anyone.

I saw Mr. Ellis for a Bankruptcy and though this was a difficult, bewildering event in my life, Mr. Ellis was professional, informative, and supportive. This experience could have been a nightmare, but am more than pleased with the results and the above board service I received. I have recommended him many times.

He was excellent in the courtroom with my divorce. His advise was well thought out and honest. It wasn't always what I wanted to hear, but I knew it was solid advice that was reasonable during an emotional time.

DON'T USE THIS LAWYERI!!!! I had a simple bankruptcy that he screwed up on. (my car was on all the credit agencys reports as claiming it in my bankruptcy even though I told him MANY times that I didn't want to put the car on the report) I actually never missed a payment (always on time) for my leased car and I ended up buying it when the lease ran out (since my car was on all the credit agencys I had to pay much more in interest and my credit scores were alot lower. After calling my lawyer MANY TIMES, he said he would fix the problem but he NEVER did. I've made at least 50-100 phone calls to my lawyer,GMAC (they know I never missed a payment-that's why I was able to buy the car) and Equifax. Hours and hours on the phone without my lawyer doing a single thing. This is something my lawyer should of fixed himself since this false report is TOTALLY his fault...I've been paying Equifax so they can dispute the false report without ANY SUCCESS. Equifax told me there is not much they can do since Armistead Ellis Jr. already put the false report in my bankruptcy and the bankruptcy is now closed.......................One more thing - part of my fee to Armistead was for his time and travel expenses to go back and forth to Jacksonville for the bankruptcy hearing (about 200 miles total) but he didn't show up for that either...........now I got to find another lawyer who will sue this lawyer......I
