In response to Ms. DeParry's comment. I won't remove the review. You shouldn't make assumptions. The real estate is not in my name. It's Mayberry and I'm relating it exactly as it happened. It should ring a bell, as you dished it out to her personally on the phone. We purchased a house in DeLand from out of state in the summer of 2017 and hired Ms. deParry to handle a few issues with the seller, and make sure the transaction was as it should be with the Title Company. . We couldn't be there for the act of sale. She provided adequate service on the purchase of the house. However, 24 -hours after we'd paid her for her services, my wife called her secretary to ask who we should contact to have the electricity turned on. Her secretary put my wife on hold and Ms. deParry picked up and said we'd already been charged the final payment and she couldn't help us. My wife responded we don't need legal help, we just wanted some friendly help to find out who provides electricity in DeLand so we could make a call. Ms. deParry refused to allow her secretary to take the call, and would not share the info with us without charging our card for 1/4 hour of her time. Wow. She's certainly not a member of the DeLand Welcome Wagon. I wouldn't hire her services again if she were the last attorney in DeLand.
