Kristie was nothing but AMAZING!! The best attorney with the best staff in the State of Florida without a doubt. I was charged with Robbery with Firearm and she was able to get my case DISMISSED! Anything I needed help with she was right there no excuses. She fought diligently and achieved the best possible outcome, my case was dismissed and it was proven that I did not commit that crime. There are not enough words to thank Kristie for everything she did. I definitely recommend her services.

Kristie Cohen did a phenomenal job handling a trying situation in my life. She was kind, curteous, and most importantly effective at getting me the best possible outcome. Cannot reccomend her enough!

My little brother had a tough upbringing, which lead to his friends getting into trouble and dragging him into it as well. He was charged as basically an accomplice to Armed Kidnapping, Armed Robbery, Fleeing and Eluding among other things. He was facing 3 life sentences for crimes that he never commited and because of his past the prosecutors were trying to make sure that he got life in prison. With the severity of his crimes the amount of money that I would have been charged by any other lawyer would have been extreme but she treated my brother like family and once she realized that my brother was really a sweet kid and did not commit any of the crimes he was charged with she began fighting for us. She fought 10x harder than even the defendants lawyer and proved my brothers innocence to the State Attorney. 2 years later my little brother is home with 2 years of community control and 2 years probation. The only charges against him, fleeing and eluding and driving without a valid drivers license. She truly treated my family as her own and brought my family such happiness a day before Christmas when my brother was released. Truly Amazing thank you for everything. If I may, I’d like to begin with some background information on myself, just to emphasize the severity of my situation and how Kristie handled it. I am a premed student at FAU, where I’ve been studying to become a trauma surgeon for 6 years. Even prior to college, it has always been my dream to become a trauma surgeon. With that in mind, my case involved me being charged with battery for assaulting an officer, as well as an enhanced DUI, both involving felony charges. The reason why this was such a focal point in my life (more than it already is for anyone), is because you cannot become a board certified surgery if you have a felony, or in other words, due to one nights mistake, my dreams of becoming a surgeon were ruined. Initially, I began with a different attorney, whom honestly pawned me off on whoever he could. I was riding an emotional rollercoaster where one day they said they’d be able to get my felonies dropped to the next day they informing me that it was impossible. Within 7 court appearances (over a year since the incident), I had 5 different representatives, and thank God I was able to meet the 5th, Kristie! Not only was she completely understanding, but she was sympathetic and actually BELIEVED my intentions! I cannot emphasize that enough! Dealing with the other attorneys, I always had the impression that I was having to convince them that I actually did make a mistake, and that this was not my normal behavior. With Kristie, she didn’t even question me; I immediately felt relief when talking to her about the events that occured that night (rather than feeling judged and ridiculed, which was the impression I received from everyone else). She really listened to me, and how important it was for me to get my felonies dropped, as honestly my entire life’s actions led up to this one mistake that may prevent my dream of becoming a trauma surgeon. As soon as we met she ran around like a mother whose child went missing! I asked my previous attorney if I could write the officer incharge of my arrest an apology letter and demonstrate to him that I really was a good person who made one mistake by showing him my letters of recommendation and my legitimate intentions of going to medical school, and his response was “you’ll be admitting guilt, and there’s no possible way were getting your felonies dropped it’s a waste of time”. Though, when I proposed the idea to Kristie during our initial meeting, she said to give her everything I could possibly get and she was going to bombard everyone! I sent her the apology letter I had intended for the officer, my letters of recommendation, my academic transcripts, as well as much more that she advised me would be beneficial to my status. Not only did she personally bring the letter to the officer, but also the judge, and the DA on my case (I even believe 3 different DA’s due to the time-span of my court dates). She exhausted all of her energy in trying to convince them that I honestly made a mistake. The 3 months between my court dates, she was able to propose a deal in which my felonies were dropped to misdemeanors, which I was previously told would be impossible. I just have to stress the fact, it wasn’t just the that Kristie was able to get my felonies dropped, but it was more than that. She was in my corner... Like, reallllllly in my corner. Not once during the time of our interactions did I feel ashamed, or embarrassed or even just a failure. Kristie is a wonderful lawyer. She is determined, and has the drive and ambition to pursue in directions that were not even thought of as possible and the discipline to remain accepting and understanding to all attributes of someone's flaws, without letting time and experience harden her. I really don’t know how I would have been able to get through this without her support and belief in me. She single-handedly gave me back my life and I wish there was some way I could repay her for how much of an impact she h

I was extremely nervous about my situation until I spoke with Kristie. She guided me through the entire process and gave me all of my options I before going to court. Instead of having butterflies the day of court, Kristie had me prepared knowing what the end result was going to be and on our terms. I realize that words can fall short and will never give any justice to meaning in general so before I move forward with this review, let it be known that I will not spend my words friviliusly as I am writing this for those that need the best representation of my experience with a great attorney. As far as my lawyer search went, I was really just pulling names out of a hat but I really got lucky when I acquired Kristie as my attorney. So if your currently in the vetting process, you might as well save yourself the time by choosing her. I was in a less than ideal situation with the law. At times I became physically ill thinking about my criminal issues but once I knew that Kristie had my back, it really made me feel more secure. She is professional yet compassionate. She is very down-to-earth and her mind is pretty much a plethora of law encyclopedias. She listens well and is attentive to detail. She knows strategy and has a true moral compass. When I was standing next to her in court I could FEEL her loyalty to me. Knowing that someone will be on your side like that no matter what conjours a feeling that I wish I could put into words here. Kristie went so far beyond my expectations.
