I sought student loan debt advice and guidance from Van Horn Law Group recently. Chad and his staff were very helpful, professional, knowledgeable and understanding of my needs. I am one to ask an excessive amount of questions and each question was answered quickly and thoroughly. Student debt is something that I was embarrassed and worried about but they put my concerns at ease and assured me that I am not alone and that they have helped many others with similar situations. I have been dealing with student loans for years now causing stress and anguish on me and my family to the point that i had my taxes garnished. She fought for me making sure that an acceptable rehabilitation amount was agreed by the horrible creditors after me. Went for a free consultation. Mr. Van Horn was very courteous and attentive to my concerns. He was knowledgeable and provided useful recommendations.

I came to Chad with a creditor that was threatening to lien my house. Chad without looking at the full background and researching the case automatically advised me to claim bankruptcy. After looking further into the case he then went on to tell me that I cannot dismiss this creditor in a bankruptcy and that I would have to settle for a large lump sum with them. He completely overlooked the whole reason as to why I came to his firm. It was to see what my options are and how he can help me. Chad wanted me to agree on a $90,000 lump sum payment to the creditor. I refused and told him to go back and negotiate and continuously asked him if that was the only option we had. He went back several times and kept on telling me to just take the deal. I ended up making a much better deal with the creditor after I personally told Chad what terms and conditions I would agree to. Not only did Chad not know how to get the deal done but he wants to take credit for the great deal that he supposedly closed. Either way it was a bad deal for me that could've been handled differently if Chad knew how to do his job the right way. I'm not an attorney. I came to Chad for help. Ends up I never even needed to claim bankruptcy in the first place this could've all been negotiated without one if he would've just done his homework before telling me to just sign on the dotted line. Now I have another creditor coming after me that I thought was included in the bankruptcy and he can only tell me to claim bankruptcy again. That's not the way things are done Chad. I hope people read this and think twice before ever coming to your firm.

From the second that I walked through the door I knew that I made the correct choice. I believe Chad and his firm will be with me every step of the way. I was so worried about this bankruptcy but now I feel at ease. And Stephanie was amazing. She took the time to answer my questions and had the patience to deal with me. I have complete faith in this firm. Thank you guys and gals.

I have to admit, I was skeptical after reading all the great reviews, but Chad more than lives up to the glowing recommendations. He is genuinely compassionate, well informed, and very quick to ascertain the key elements of the case. I would certainly recommend Chad for anyone going thru this horrible experience
