Mr Wetter is for sure one of the best, if not the best) criminal attorney in SWFL. I was on State probation and violated with 7 NEW charges (3 of them felonies). My family hired another attorney in the area that wouldn’t ever answer my calls or email. After a very long research I found Mr Wetter and decided to have him to take over the attorney my family had hired. All I can say is that was by far one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He got ALL my charges dropped. By experience I’ve learned sometimes we want to safe on attorney fees hiring inexperienced attorneys can actually turn into a very expensive life tragedy due poor outcomes. I hope I never need again, but if any of my family and friends need a criminal lawyer, Mr Wetter will be the one.

Very unprofessional, don’t let the reviews fool you. I hired him because of the reviews, nothing but great things in the review but I’m sure they’re all close friends of his writing the reviews. in all honesty he just robbed a single mother of two kids, he will tell you what you want to hear and won’t return your phone calls. The only communication you would have is through email from his assistant never from him. The day of trial I couldn’t even get a hold of him. Save your money and time ! Thank you for replying to my review regarding the services you provided, you were quicker responding to the review than you were to call me back or even follow up with me regarding the case. YES ! i will admit that i was late to my court date, i doubt you had to beg the judge anything as he was an easy going guy and i have no prior criminal history. i was late to the trial and maybe i wouldn't have been if your team would've just taken two mins out of their day to call me. I work in the home health field and i'm a very busy mom, juggling all my DUI requirements, working and working from home, taking care of my kids is a lot to handle. The reason why i know he may not have cared to actually reach out to me is because he knew my case wasn't going anywhere and he knew i wasn't going to beat it. So why LIE to me and tell me i could've and it was a possibility? I hired you as my attorney to guide me and to let me know what the best decision for my case was. Instead, he only told me what i wanted to hear and gloated about all the connections and social friends he has in the legal field to get the best outcome for me. The day of the trial he didn't go there to support me in my decision, he came with the plea deal form that i did not want to agree to, in hand, for me to sign. He didn't come with my documents or any kind of evidence to fight my case. HE ONLY came with one sheet of paper. To be honest with you, it could've been a race thing, since the day of trial he wasn't even speaking to me, more like only acknowledging my WHITE aunt and her opinions and her questions. I hope from my experience he learns to be more honest and truthful to his clients since he does make you pay the full fee before trial. I would never recommend him and hope that nobody has to go through what i had to in my time of need.

Best attorney in Fort Myers. He got my Trafficking charge (which held a minimum mandatory of 3 years in state prison) dropped to a SIMPLE POSSESSION!!!! I also had felony marijuana possession and a minor misdemeanor and Mr.Wetter got me 24 months of probation for everything when the offer with the public defender was 4 years in the Florida Department of Corrections!!!! His rapport with the state attorneys and history as a prosecutor makes him the best choice. He’s basically a unicorn when it comes to attorneys as he is actually completely honest with you in your initial consultation. Choose Mr.Wetter. You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

This dudes a straight up scam artist. Interview other attorneys in the area and ask their thoughts about Wetter, you’ll get a general consensus about him. A lot of the positive reviews on here are paid for by him or written by “friends”. Dudes a POS.
