Mr wetter took my case! worked with payments and got my case dismissed! He is a great attorney with knowledge of the law! He knows all the inside people to get your case taken care of quickly and in your favor! If your smart you will hire him! Right away! And let him do what he does best!!!!!!

I got into trouble with the law with a felony gun charge and steven wetter the best lawyer in ft myers was very honest and straight forward i spoke with other guys before him and he seemed like the most professional and the most straight foward guy in town and beat all the other guys by a mile ! He helped me ease my anixety. He always answered my calls and was always honest and he was there to help me out ! He even looked at me and spoke about his son who was the same age as me so he basically treated me like family! And understood me like i was close to him most lawyers just want you as a cilent he wanted what was best for md and my family!! I would recommend and send anybody his way ! I didnt even have to go to a court date or arraignment or anything he got the charges dismissed 2 weeks after the Arrest ! This guy is the best in town and i would never call or do business with anybody esle besides steven wetter ! This guy is a blessing from god always by your side and will never quit!! Steven Wetter is the used car sales man of attorneys. I was charged with my second DUI outside of 5 years, no breath test, no blood test, no urine test. There was also no audio or video from the officers, purely subjective evidence. The second charge was 2nd refusal to submit to breath test after license suspension in which the statute clearly states the officer MUST inform you that not only will your license be suspended again but also result in a misdemeanor charge. She did not state that there would be another charge(as stated by the narrative as well as the DMV hearing). $5000 is what Wetter charged me in order to represent me in this case. He avoided phone calls, emails and twice I had to show up at his office in order to try and get a hold of him. It took 4 months before he even brought a plea deal to me, I wouldnt consider him good enough attorney to take anything to trial plus he requires an extra $1500 to go to trial. The day I went to court he looked like an absoloute coward, he did not stand up for me or my rights at all. He was asking the prosecutor for favors like he was a 6 year old child asking his mommy if he could play outside for longer. My family and I were planning on moving out of state well before all this was going on. Mr Wetter had told me: “if you need to move up there, go ahead and I’ll handle everything down here”. He forgot to mention that if I would have done that I would have violated my Bond conditions with the bondsman and it could have been up to a 5 year charge for jumping bond. With time getting close to move I decided to take a plea because like I said he is not competent to take a case like this to trial and the time I soent waiting for him I could have be 1/4 done with any type of probation already. The days prior to me accepting the plea Mr. Wetter assured me and my family “dont worry about jail”. Again, I was outside of the 5 year period for the 2nd DUI, the officer DID NOT inform me of the misdemeanor charge which according to the statute is required. I had to do 10 days in LCJ and went to court to turn myself on my birthday. (Thanks Wetter, glad it took 4 months in order to get that done.) All my original charges is what I had to plea to, nothing was dropped not one charged was less than the original with nothing but what the cops narrative of what happened. A public defender will get you the exact same plea deal. Justice and the Law are two totally different things, Steven Wetter is STILL on the other side. His speeches he’ll give you about “wanting to work for the other side” is a crock. YOU DESERVE BETTER THAN WETTER

I chose Steven Wetter as my lawyer to get a restraining order granted and he did it! The restraining order was granted thanks to him. I loved how he presented himself in the court room, he definitely knows what he is doing. He will make sure to fight to win your case and he will be completely honest with you about the odds of losing/winning and will advice you. Overall great attorney!

Attorney Wetter is a godsend. He was by me every step of the way and was able to really defend me. He put so much work into my case and made me feel like a priority when he is such a busy man. He is very well known and it helps unbelievably through the whole process. His office assistant is amazing as well and so kind. They are always willing to answer any questions you may have and eased my anxiety over and over again. 10/10 would recommend. For those who decided "NOT TO HIRE HIM" ten thumbs up !! He "represented" my son in a murder case and promised me heaven and earth and charged us $5000 which is pretty cheap for a case like that but we had no more money. Anyways i told him about the few complaints i saw here about him and i told him i was gonna give him the benefit of the doubt since not everybody could be happy so he said that my son was inocent and he will get him off, well he didn't because he is a thief and a liar but what bothered me the most is that after he dropped my son, A PUBLIC DEFFENDER TOOK HIS CASE AND GOT THE CHARGES DROPPED LESS THAN 2 WEEKS LATER. He is a profecional liar and a thief and i hope somebody report his ass or tell me how to do it !!! DON'T HIRE HIM !!! BECAUSE YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID !!!

Steven Wetter is the best lawyer you will find! I won’t get into details of my case, but I called him on a Friday after hours, he answered and told me to come in right away Monday morning. I went in and he told me exactly what was happening and what he was going to do. After a few months, he did exactly what he said. I’m blessed to have found him. He’s not just a lawyer, he’s a person who cares! I’m a high strung guy and tend to worry. The day before my final court date I think I drove him nuts by calling him. He, and his assistant, both took the time to calm me down. They always answer the phone. Without names being mentioned, my first lawyer pitched a good line and then did nothing for me. I wish I had found attorney Wetter, I wouldn’t have been in the predicament I was in. Thank you and God bless you attorney Wetter and staff!

After my phone consultation I didn't feel confident with him... Especially after the gambling metaphor he used to persuade me (knowing the house always wins). I have not retained his services and am still looking. So, let me be clear... I cannot give an accurate account of his services, just my confidence in him to get me out from under an injunction. In reading these reviews... it seems he does well with literal criminal offenses but civil and traffic... Not so good!!!
