Recently had a need for an attorney and did considerable research online. Wanted an attorney with proven experience in the area of law I had a concern with. I contacted The Scott T. Moorey law firm and Lance Dunford. I was very concerned and nervous as I imagine many are in a difficult unknown situation. Lance listened and explained the situation completely and gave me direction and relief. Lance was clear, concise and straight forward with my actions. If you get in a situation you need his services you cannot find a more truthful and understanding attorney.

Lance represented me in a felony drug possession case this past year. Although my instincts were to fight the charges, Lance keep me focused on achieving the best possible outcome in my case which was achieved. Throughout this ordeal, he was always prompt with returning my calls and followed up more than I believe the typical counsel would have. He displayed extensive knowledge of the law and was sensitive to the needs of his client. I would highly recommend Lance.

Lance was exactly who I would have hired had I foreseen I would ever need an attorney. Truly seems to care about his clients. He treated my teenage daughter with respect but also helped make her understand the seriousness of the two misdemeanors she had been arrested for. One charge was even dismissed! I approached Lance's law firm after talking to 2 other firms. Lance is young but do not let his age deceive. His resume is stacked. He is hungry and making a name for himself and that's who I would want my money behind. Not an older, burnt out lawyer. Lance was alert when hearing my case and exceptionally knowledgeable of law. He explained every single direction that my case could go from the best case scenario to the worst case scenario. The other 2 law firms did not do this and I very much appreciated this from him. Lance was recommended to me by a friend when I was arrested for a DUI. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was successful in getting my charge reduced to Reckless Driving for which I am very grateful. At my initial consultation Lance clearly and concisely laid out all possible outcomes and consequences and explained how he would proceed in defending my case. Being unaware of this opportunity to review my lawyer I only now am getting to this. I was arrested after an auto accident two years ago- I hit a truck - thankfully there were no injuries to the truck passengers - I was taken to the hospital and released in about two hours. While at the hospital I was urine screened and charged with a DUI. I spoke to a number of lawyers on the phone but did not feel comfortable with any of them until I spoke to Lance Dunford. He was polite, genuine and professional. He took my case and guided me through the process with honesty, integrity and extreme professional ability. His relationships with the other members of the court reflected a high degree of respect and professionalism as well. My charge was dropped to reckless driving and I completed all the requirements of my case. Lance remained available to me during this entire process with guidance and encouragement. I was not only grateful for his professional ability but for the kindness and compassion with which he treated me as a person who was in a difficult and frightening situation. Perhaps, in retrospect, that is the most important aspect of dealing with all that was intaled in getting through this situation. This was my first and hopefully only time in having to go through this process but I did have the occasion to recommend him to a friend who reported the same high degree of appreciation for his outstanding work on their behalf.

Lance was across the board 5 stars. Very communicative- This gentleman could answer any question and doesnt beat around the bush. Will not give you false hopes and set things in perspective for you. Very quick to reply also Enormously knowledgeable- He knew the ins and outs and do's and donts of what needs to happen and when. Broke things down to me even i could understand Very helpful/respective- Any other lawyer i had usually made me feel like i was doing most if not all of the leg work, paperwork, mailing and contacting people. I sent Lance my drivers license and that was it and he took care of everything else. Not only did this man got my case dropped but he helped me as a new found business owner feel like i cant trust the justice system a little bit more knowing that some people can take my personal needs and play it in the prosecuting process to benefit me. I offered to tip him for the great results but refused and told me to give him a review and its the least i can do for this guy. He has a long term client.

Outstanding communicator, Excellent DUI Acumen, Candid, Honest and willing to expend whatever time & energy needed to support his clients. Very well respected by Prosecutors, Judges and Probation Officers in Lee County, FL. Successfully negotiated my 1.61 BAC to a reckless driving charge. Supported my case for a flat fee, including numerous issues with probation. Provided immediate response to my questions, coached me as needed and fulfilled his commitments entirely. I highly recommend Lance for any DIU related offense.

My brother-in-law was going through a nasty divorce and was picked up for DUI. My husband and I live 1500 miles away and were unable to drop everything and fly to Ft.Myers.
