If it was not for the tenaciousness of Joe Brien at The People’s Advocate I would have lost my home on the Lake.  The name The People’s Advocate perfectly describes what this office is. My attorney Joe Brien diligently handled my foreclosure case, working hard for over 6 years.  He never once let up and tried everything.  In spite of the current predatory lending case law set against me, Joe still made every effort to present my counter-suit and bring it before a judge and Bank of America.  Unfortunately Bank of America kept trying to drop my loan modification, however, Joe stayed on top of them.  We must have re-submitted or updated my paperwork over 12 times.  Ultimately, I was able to obtain a great loan modification comprised of a $448,000 deferred principal reduction and a agreeable interest rate.  I am very happy that I still have my home on the lake to come home to.
