Well with me it was scary at first with the charges I was facing but everything turned out better than ok. Magilligan got all the charges dismissed and got me home before I lost everything. Thank you David I really am great full.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Mcgilligan are amazing, not only for their legal expertise, but the care and attention given to each case. As to Mrs. Mcgilligan, she helped my boyfriend with a greencard matter and it was very efficient, reasonably priced, and she was always available for any questions or doubts. Mr. Mcgilligan took care of a matter for a family member and, it being a delicate situation, he took the time to reassure us during a very stressful time and make us feel comfortable. In the end, thanks to his knowledge of the law and the system we were able to get a positive outcome.

This review is for his wife which is his partner in this law practice. Consuelo M de La Ossa Magilligan. Let me start by saying I had an amazing lawyer Mr Nicholas Olano who sold his practice to Mrs Consuelo Magilligan. He was by far the most accomplished criminal immigration attorney in Miami before he left the state. Since this lawyer inherited my immigration case let me go into detail how unprofessional, money hungry and down right horrible the experience was with her. Articulate speech , whilst she speaks the English language she is constantly pausing to find the necessary words needed to make her point and is constantly saying "ummm and ehhh". In front the immigration judge she came across as so unprepared and lacking in knowledge that the judge ended up having to tell her what forms she needed to file on another case she had which she was late to court for as well, since she was taking up time flipping back and forth through her notes. Arriving 45 minutes late for court the day of my trial. My appointment was 8am and she walked in at 8:45am looking disheveled in a wrinkled black suit and unkempt hair and no makeup which had her looking tired. Not receiving a phone call, email or text during the time I was waiting for her arrival in the court room Not being given a phone number to call in case of an emergency like being late which she was by 45 minutes. Her business has no answering service by which to reach her in case of an emergency. Receiving a letter from her office in Spanish and not English shows as clients my case file wasn't looked at to see our language of preference. Especially since the file shows the country of birth is only English speaking in the N400 form. Not reviewing my case before the initial meeting which was weeks before the scheduled court appearance where she had to inquire if my wife and I were legally married. Had she looked at the file she would see a copy of our marriage certificate as well as my marital status on the N400 form. Not having a license to practice law in the State of Florida but in Louisiana instead. You heard correct, she DID NOT sit the Florida Bar but did it Louisiana. No reviews online by former clients which appears as if there's no experience in immigration law, her online resume shows she worked doing contracts for corporations. So where is the experience in Immigration law especially Criminal Immigration like Mr Olano. A G28 hasn't been requested by her office which leads one to believe Mr Olano is still the lawyer on file with Immigration. So NOTHING was done on my behalf by her. After my hearing in Immigration court the judge dismissed the case as he informed me because of the the work DONE BY Mr Olano. This lady received $2000 from me and had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do on my case. Here's where it gets better. She then says I need to schedule an appointment in Infopass to go back to the CIS Office and she will charge me $500 to set up the appointment and another $500 to go with me to this appointment. So she wants another $1000 on top of the $2000 that she received for doing nothing, absolutely nothing. Not even filling ONE single form on my behalf. I went ahead and scheduled the Infopass appointment myself online. With that being said the Infopass appointment took all of three minutes to schedule online, so to charge $500 to fill in my name and address and click confirm. After that VERY UNPROFESSIONAL experience with her I relieved her of her duties as my lawyer and basically did every thing else on my own, I set up my Infopass appointment, went to CIS who then told me the Infopass appointment and coming to it WAS NOT NECESSARY. So this woman just wanted to milk me for as much money as she could because she thinks no one does their research and everyone is illiterate to the law and will stupidly hand over their hard earned money. The great news is a few days later I received my letter to get sworn in as an American citizen. NO THANKS TO HER.

David is so nice and is a really good attorney. He helped out my cousin in a case and got the charges dropped.
