My disabled son went into the Legal aid office to obtain guidance on how to respond to a paternity summons. He wants to do right by the child if the child is his however he is confused by all the legal forms. He was treated very poorly and talked down to as if he were the scum of the earth. There is no excuse for treating people like this that come to you for help.

I did an externship in the consumer advocacy department in Fall 2014. The attorneys are very compassionate and genuinely concerned with helping their clients. It needs more funding because Jacksonville has a lot of indigent clients.
