Overcoming credit card debt of close to $30,000 seemed like an impossible thing to do and I was resigned to a worsening situation. And then I found Century Law Firm and it was not one of those debt consolidation programs that they chose for me. Instead they negotiated each CC company debt downward as much as they could. It's one company at a time in this ongoing process, and of course, kind of like a mortgage, their fees are paid out first for a little less than half of the 48 month period. You have to be patient and you have to trust the process. But I can already see that with each passing month the process is working. It is a 48 month program, and yet the firm allows me to skip a month here and there if my situation is difficult to deal with. I always feel that they are doing their best to help me through this. 48 months feels like a lifetime sometimes, but I've had car loans that lasted longer. This will leave me at the end of the 48 months (plus the four months I've skipped) CC debt free! and with the money I've been paying this company each month, I will have that much additional spending power without using a credit card. This company has integrity.
