I have worked with Mr. Willmott on three separate occasions, once in 2020, then again twice in 2024. Family law cases are very stressful and anxiety provoking, as they certainly were in my cases. However, Mr. Willmott was able to lead me through, with his knowledge, professionalism, skill, attention to detail, and promptness. He always answered emails and phone calls quickly, and always had answers to my questions. His experience and confidence helped ease my anxiety through my cases each time. Each case I had was different, and he was always very prepared and ready to fight for me. Choosing a family attorney is one of the most important things you can do to protect yourself and your children, and it can be very challenging to find the right one. It became very clear, very quickly, that I made the right decision in hiring Mr. Willmott. Mr. Willmott is excellent at what he does, and I highly recommend him for anyone in need of a family attorney.

Had a phenomenal experience with Mr. Willmott as my attorney for both my divorce and my relocation case. He was able to win my relocation case and saved me from giving too much to my ex-husband during the divorce process. He was also able to settle the divorce in mediation without having to go to court. I would happily recommend him as an attorney.

I really wish I'd paid more attention to these reviews before going with Charles. I initially wasn't going to post anything here, but I feel so utterly taken advantage of that I'm hoping maybe this helps someone else who reads it. For a non-contested divorce that didn't go to mediation and was, quite literally, just filing paperwork; Charles attempted to charge me an additional $1800 in fees, on top of the $5000 retainer he assured me would cover everything if it didn't go to mediation. My ex-wife's lawyer laughed at the amount of extra unnecessary steps Charles added to the process, assumedly in an attempt to charge me more. We actually ended up using my ex-wife's lawyer to file the divorce paperwork, who did so without charging anything additional, out of pity for how much Charles had already taken advantage of me. $6800 to get laughed at by your ex-wife's lawyer who was willing to do the same work pro-bono is unbelievable. To add insult to injury, at one point during the process I'd reached out to Charles for advice on how to proceed with negotiations. As a stepfather, I was attempting to find a way to keep in touch with stepdaughters. Charles flat out refused to provide any sort of legal counsel on how to proceed stating he "did not know [my] wife, so couldn't predict what she would do." When I asked what typically happens, considering he's had so much more experience with divorces than I have, he just repeated the same statement, flat out refusing to even provide the most miniscule amount of insight into a process that we would assume he's an expert on. In retrospect, the only time I felt like I received meaningful counsel from Charles was prior to paying the retainer, which now makes a lot more sense than it did then. Also, despite Charles's claim that I need to process the fact that I am getting divorced and probably will no longer have contact with her and the children when this is done, I currently drop the kids off at school multiple days a week, take them to/from music and martial arts lessons, and see them nearly as often as I did when I was married to their mother. Turns out there was a completely reasonable and professional method of maintaining that parental relationship. Obviously, this is not on Charles to be able to predict, but it was not nearly as impossible of an option as he made it seem. Other than the above, Charles was responsive and quick to file. I did not experience any of the other problems I see people have complained about here. I have absolutely had worse lawyers, and in most ways, Charles was adequate. Best of luck.

I was never so unprepared for something so major. My wife laughed and said that my lawyer was terrible. It was humiliating. My son now lives in Texas. I let Mr. Willmott go after the relocation hearing.

Honestly an amazing lawyer. He defiantly fought for me and made sure that we got the best deal. he was quick to respond when there were certain issues with my case and if i had to recommend him to someone i would a thousand times over.

My kids and I may lose our home in March 2024 because he Mishandled my case from the beginning

Charles is more interested in helping people than in making money. A very good man right here.
