Century was completely polite and professional and competent. I had about 8 or 9 credit cards, and had gotten myself in a financial hole. After a bit over 4 years it is over and Century did what they said they would do. The unexpected bump along the road was when one of the creditors (Bank of America) got a judgement against me for the full amount of the debt. That judgement was hurting me in life and I asked Century if I could pay that full amount for that one card and they assisted me. If I had to do it over I would have asked if I could have gotten a negotiated amount? Anyway they helped me pay the full amount for that one card, and my life got back on track, and all the other cards went according to the original plan.

I had ZERO experience with lawsuits when my injury clinic referred me to Fields Law for a nonobligatory consultation to assess my case. I had lots of questions and honestly quite a bit of hesitation in entrusting such a sensitive situation to strangers. Both husband (Louis) and wife (Latoya) worked with me throughout my 7 month process and were prepared to take it to trial if necessary (thank goodness it was not, but they made sure I felt their confidence should it be necessary). There was a change in the laws regarding my case and they were right on top of it ensuring that they took action to best leverage my rights under current law. Communication was clear, and any time I required additional explanation they took the time to bring me up to speed without ever being condescending. They always acknowledged my case being sure to spell out the details that mattered to me. As we approached resolution, they reached out more frequently keeping me abreast and ensuring I understood risks, benefits, and numbers. Edit to update.after posting my review I was contacted by century and my accounts were settled and paid. I was extended twice keeping me the program longer than we agreed to in the beginning. Yes they saved me time and money but also collected a lot of fees. I do know 3 other individuals who have had to use century and all 3 have been extended time on the payment program so just be prepared if you use the program you will most likely be extended.Try to stay out of debt and not have to use the program. But if you have to they will get the job done.

Michael Rainka, is a very knowledgeable attorney and forthcoming. What I most like about him is how available is he was. Whenever we had questions, he returned our calls or emails within hours. If my family or I is ever in need of an attorney again, he will be the first attorney I call. I highly recommend Michael to anyone who needs legal assistance.

Grant Leggett of Leggett Law Offices helped us with filing for Guardianship of our disabled son. As you too probably call around to law firms looking for answers or representation, most often you get greeted by some half-wit nail polishing receptionist who makes you feel like you're lucky they will even talk to you. Forget those big bill board meat shops as I call them- Go boutique all the way. Having grown-up in a legal family including a father from Georgetown Law, (top 10% of his class with famous clients), it never ceased to amaze him or me how arrogant and condescending most attys can be... sound familiar? We are all just people wanting to be treated nicely in concert with an approachable atty vs those who act as they just cured cancer. Arrogant right! You're sick of those sorts too. I'm just like you. Well, did I have a refreshing experience today... Finally. Michael Rainka picked-up his phone timely and pleasant and listened intently... can you imagine a pleasant call with an attorney who didn't act like the second coming of Christ? I was not aware Mike focused on criminal law, hence there was not a match as mine was civil but he was kind enough to refer me to a firm that handled my type matter. Mike displayed humility and genuine care. Though he was not right for me, if yours is a criminal matter he surely is worth a shot... you will feel very comfortable on the call. I am a highly trained professional high-end sales person and can say... most attys would starve to death in sales by the way the speak to prospective clients. I complemented Mike for his candor, humility and approach. He then asked if I would write a review. I said certainly and I will write the review exactly as I shared to him to those reading this. I appreciated. As my father always said: (high powered NY, DC, MD litigation atty far beyond the caliber of most if not all in Jacksonville: "They come in all shapes and sizes." Hence, perhaps give Mike a call, share your matter and seems to me if there is a match you have a good one to consider. I graded Mike's approach and care towards me, a total stranger- Grade A.
