Mr. Bethea represented me on a serious felony charge. I was in a bad place at the time and I really needed drug treatment more than a stint in prison. When I had the public defender the judge wasn't listening to anything that we had to say. My mother retained Mr. Bethea to represent me. I remember feeling comforted the instant he appeared in the courtroom. When he walked in the judge greeted him with "good morning Mr. Bethea", even though they were in the middle of a different case. Mr. Bethea was able to get the State to agree to 6 months of drug treatment instead of years in prison. I'm back with my children now and it's all because of Robert Bethea.
