Was wrongfully accused and after several consultations, I decided to hire The Law Offices of Jason Porter. All other consultations told me to take a guilty plea but only after paying a $10k retainer. After meeting with Jason and his team, they understood my situation, listened to my side of things, and after 7 grueling months, the prosecutor dropped all charges and I was exonerated. Do your research. There are firms that will accept your retainer but not do much else. This isn’t the case with the Law Offices of Jason Porter. Hands down, best group of attorneys I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. They are responsive, aren’t dismissive and work hard for the money invested in protecting your freedom. If your considering hiring another firm, don’t do it until you’ve met with these guys. Jason Porter and Johnathan Thatcher, best defense attorneys in Jacksonville. They believed in me when our justice system didn’t.

There has been times I have been referred outside of the law firm and the referrals have always been sound and very appropriate to the overall situation. My case was very frustrating and had some complications along the way, due to the nature of it being an injury and the unfortunate way Florida does not mandate bodily injury liability insurance. Eventually all of my bills got sorted out and I appreciate the hard work of their paralegal Dani who put in a lot of effort to have the bills submitted properly and try to work with the billing departments. My case was not one of those that you see plastered on billboards with the person holding a check for a 6-7 figure payout and I can appreciate that some attorneys would not have even wanted to bother but I am glad that Atty Porter and his staff were willing to work with me and be understanding of the hardships that someone who is seriously injured will face. They still worked to help resolve my bills and the case while doing so for a lot less than most cases attorneys take on.

Best trial lawyer in town!!

I met with Porter for a consultation. He was very empathetic and took his time to consult w. me. Also, he didn't give the standard answer of--we can't tell you the cost. Instead, he was able to give me a figure of about what it would cost. He was an attorney with experience, and he is very personable.

Woman who answered the phone was very rude! The ones who answer the phones and work in the front office sets the first impression. If they wanted to give a bad first impression they hired the right person!

I'm not big on reviewing with one star but this law firm is not who or what they advertise...the 'Pick Porter' is not true or reliable. It's sad to mislead people that need an attorney an I did get swept up by the advertisement. 'Pick' Morgan and Morgan or anyone else if you care about your well being.

Jason Porter is the best attorney in Jacksonville!! He has been there for me and my son several times. I have set down with Jason and talked about my concerns and he has always put my mind at ease and has always been there. In my opinion there is no better attorney!!
