I am a highly experienced appellate attorney (over 300 Florida cases) who has never met Ms. Young. She is, however, the trial attorney in a case I am working on. In reviewing her pretrial motions and her transcribed arguments before the judge, I am mightily impressed. She stands out from the vast majority of public defenders. She is well-prepared on the facts and law and she puts up more of a vigorous fight than many attorneys. She probably preserves far more issues for appeal, too. Her clients are lucky to have her.
