I’m a local attorney but do not practice family law. I have consulted with Lauren on several family law cases and she has always been super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I would confidently refer Lauren to any client looking for help regarding a family law matter, knowing she would provide zealous and effective representation.

I contacted Owenby with an estate issue. I was put in contact with Charlean Maurer. She answered my questions and got me the information I needed in a timely manner. She told me she also handles family law matters I would definitely retain her again for any of my needs in these areas!

This place is a rip off. Was told the qdro cost would be a simple $1,350.00 in February . It is now almost September and we have already had to pay an additional $400 dollars and no success. No movement. To make things worse they just asked for another retainer. No thanks!!! We questioned there lack of progress and they said they had trouble getting a response from the spouses lawyer. They have done nothing to move this along. They also charge for every email and conversation even when it was about there lack of representation. Do yourself a favor and don’t use this place. They will not represent you and they will constantly Bill for no action!!!!!!!

Attorney Neil Kush is excellent to work with and always dedicated to his clients needs. He went above and beyond for me during some difficult domestic disputes and I wouldn’t have gotten the outcome I needed without him.

Not a good experience with Owenby. Very unprofessional and combative consultation. The point of contention seemed to be the attorney's refusal to accept that I was telling them the truth about the actions taken by the judge, which is strange, I didn't expect that the attorney I was trying to hire to represent me would have such a strong and undue affinity for the judge's actions. I know sometimes it's difficult to accept, but I would think an attorney would understand that just because you're a judge doesn't also mean you aren't a total amoral piece of schitt.

Steer clear! Our lawyer after 2 days of prep had zero prepared notes, no backbone with opposing counsel and prepped only one witness, poorly. He was too young, not confident and zero help from senior attorneys, wish we had actually gotten what we paid for and not a recent grad!!!!

I have worked with Emily Cochran before and she is overall a caring and detail oriented person. Loved working with her and would recommend her services to anyone in need!
