I hired Greg Gilbert after hearing good things about Parker & DuFresne, P.A. in the past as I worked in the legal field. My story begins with me scheduling an appointment with an anonymous attorney with Parker & DuFresne which turned out to be Greg regarding a foreclosure issue I was up against. Greg was immediately available to discuss with me those circumstances the next day and after our first meeting he was ready for the challenge plus he made me felt heard even when I was a wreck. Greg was my attorney for the entire lawsuit whereas the plaintiff went through two separate attorneys because Greg was on point, organized and focused. I did have to file a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy to get plaintiff’s attention and save my house (long story) but in the end plaintiff decided to settle with me a mortgage modification out of the bankruptcy. Once the details of the settlement were agreed upon I changed the Chapter 13 to a Chapter 7. I’m not happy about the long haul of my credit being shot but the good news is (I’m an optimist) that Greg was able to get my interest rate down 2% and my principal down as well without having to pay plaintiff’s legal fees! Yes, yes, yes, I would recommend Greg Gilbert to whomever needs financial help especially in today’s times. I’m giving Attorney Greg Gilbert 5 Stars!

I hired Greg to handle a case for me that was almost fifteen years old. I'd had a foreclosure back when the real estate market crashed. Back when everything was happening I worked night and day to get it resolved with the banks. I tried everything, I tried to sell the property but of course, no one in their right mind would buy it at the amount owed I owed the bank. I tried to short-sale it but still no buyers because the market was sinking rapidly. I tried to renegotiate my loan and was unsuccessful with that as well. I eventually foreclosed and suffered the seven years of terrible credit and all the woes that come with that, as a result. Years later with my life back on track I'd recently built a new home for my boys and me, my credit is great, my business is doing well and low and behold... All of a sudden I kept getting harassed by some new credit collection company I'd never heard of. They were relentless in their pursuit. They were trying to collect not only what was owed at the time of the foreclosure but also over a decade's worth of interest. Greg was able to get the case dismissed for me. I was only out of pocket his fee which was a small price to pay to get these people off my back for good. Greg was knowledgable, kind, and understanding throughout the process; he kept me informed at every turn. I would highly recommend him.

Gregory and his firm, fought til the end. The case went on for a while, I feel Gregory went above and beyond. Would definitely use again.

I hired Greg to settle an old lawsuit that has been open and stuck in the courts for 7 years with motions being filed every year to keep it open. Greg was hired to settle the case. After Greg was hired, the Plaintiff received pushback and the judge stated "improper service" has occurred. Long story short, the Plaintiff backed down and dropped the case. Greg always responded to my questions/emails, very impressed.

Mr. Gilbert has resolved multiple mortgage litigation cases for me recently. Greg is a very practical attorney . He gets right to the point of the problems and finds solutions. He is extremely responsive with requests for information or discussions about your case. I would hire Greg in the future.

I was not impressed by the initial intake of my case. A lot of things not communicated to me. However, once Greg received my file I know he put a lot of time and effort into it. What was supposed to be a simple chapter 7 turned into almost a 1 year ordeal. Through the process Greg was very efficient. He answered all of my emails and phone calls almost immediately. There were times I lost hope, I was so stressed out and tired. Fortunately, Greg never lost hope and continued to work hard. He believed in my case and I appreciated that. He is an attorney that seems to genuinely care about his clients.

Greg came through and helped me out when I was in a bind. There were times that I felt a little winded by the whole legal process and he took his time, explained everything and always got back to my e-mails/messages in a timely and quick manner. At times things felt bleak, but he always stayed positive and came through in the end. He's a excellent lawyer and all around great guy.

Filing Bankruptcy is a very stressful and very difficult decision to make and that's just the first step. The five years that follow can be the most challenging that a person(s) may face. It's critical to have an attorney that you know is invested in your long-term success and one who truly cares about his/her client. I'm happy to say that we just came out of our Chapter 13 and Greg was instrumental in helping us manage and navigate the entire 5-year process. He's caring and compassionate and understands his client's needs. He was always quick to provide answers to the multitude of monotonous questions that I posed along the way. About half way through the process, I experienced some brief financial difficulties and my case was in serious jeopardy of being dismissed. Greg personally handled the crisis and ensured that I had an opportunity to get back on track. I would highly recommend Greg Gilbert and the Law Firm of Parker & Dufresne for any legal representation concerning bankruptcy. I hope never to have to retain Greg's services again (in this capacity) because I hope never to be in that type of financial situation ever again. Because of the services that I received from Greg and Parker & Dufresne, I was able to pay-off both of my vehicles through the plan while retaining ownership of both vehicles and most importantly, my home. That is something that I could never place a value on.

I hired Greg for my BK7. 6 months after discharge trustee comes after my home because Greg did not protect my home in BK, ended up paying $3k for my own deed rights. 3 years later my home is held hostage by trustee and second mortgage supposedly stripped is still a lien on my property because proper paperwork was never filed. Thank you Greg.

Greag was absolutely wonderful, and understanding. This time was very trying and demeaning in my life, yet he let me know that I am not a bad person because I was going through a bad time in my life.

Mr. Gilbert has a way of making you feel confident and relaxed. He really helped me through this tough time of getting my cases squared away. His professionalism and tact is to be commended. I appreciate all he and the firm has done for me. Everything was done in a timely manner. The understanding of how to help someone and all the hard work and time put into my case was painless. Mr. Gilbert and his firm are very nice, professional, and trustworthy. If I ever need a lawyer again, they are the first people I would call.
