I wrote a review about a couple of weeks ago and used another email that I have, only to have it removed because it made the firm look bad and they didn't like that. So this time I am using my primary email. This firm is more concerned about image and money than they are the client and defending them. They would just as well take all of your money, go on vacation and let you go to prison. I would not recommend them to my bag of garbage, much less a real person who is in a real crisis or even innocent. Do your homework and hire a firm that will actually represent you and that you can depend on to show up for your court date. If this post gets removed, then you know what I am saying is completely true. This firm was hired to represent a friend of mine, Lamont Joyner, and did just what I said above. They are completely correct, I have never been a client, thank God,,but I was going to the court dates and watching and listening to everything that was happening. I am writing this review based on that. My reviews are mine and mine alone, I have not had anyone else write a review. This firm is just upset because they are being called out and they don't like it.

I hate to have to do this, but I feel that it is important to do so. I hired Lee Lockett to represent my husband on his criminal case. Upon hiring Lee, I had a 30-minute detailed conversation about his case, with his co-worker Brian, and was given a quote. He even explained the “maximum” price they would need to charge, if more charges were added. Once hired, communication became scarce. It took Lee over 3 weeks to go and meet my husband (his client) and when he finally did, he sent Brian instead of himself. The excuse was that “They didn’t know he was all the way out at the P-Farm, and it takes a lot of time out of their day to go out there.” There were also issues with court, he even missed a court date because it was a Saturday and I couldn’t get in touch with him because he hadn’t responded to my emails and wouldn’t give me a personal number to reach him. We asked him to start depositions immediately when the case first started and it took him 3 months to do so. During the time Lee was representing my husband there were additional charges added, which Lee requested an additional $9,500 for. These new charges were not even formally filed, yet his secretary told me they would not continue on his case if they didn’t receive the additional $9,500 and stressed to me that they needed the money asap. Overall, we spent 11,000 and we feel as if nothing was done, other than depositions (half of which were rescheduled). We gave him the opportunity to compensate for the lack of service, and he agreed to refund 2,000 if we didn’t write a review. Unfortunately, we went with a new attorney and we were not compensated. Since hiring a new attorney, things are already looking upward. The charges that they wanted the $9,500 for, which were not formally charged yet, have already been dropped.

This law firm is suppose to be knowledgeable in criminal defense! Hi practice doesn't need to take cases that their not experienced in! From my understanding I thought they were well experienced in taken criminal cases! Unlike we were referred to this law firm by sumone! Only to find out when we hired this law firm we first thought we were hiring lee lockett! Which we had to keep expressing how we hired lee lockett not Brian! Everytime we call the office it's almost I'm possible to be able to get lee lockett on the phone or to even speak with him! It's always hard to reach him! The secretary is always calling asking bout money never could seem to get him on the phone lee lockett is the most busiest attorney I've ever known their very rude they screen their calls if ur out at the peafarm it's so hard to get him to cum out to speak with you! He make soooo many excuses he's always in meeting we paid this law firm$11.000 dollars for nuthin this team is a real joke !1 if ur looking for an attorney to fight for or to be ur voice ur in the wrong place! All they do is keep asking for money and as much as the secretary calls and email for money she needs to build a house next to the bank and lee lockett has Brian who has done quoted one price then says oh no I would have charged more than that! Well it's ur law firm how did we get miss quoted they are liars I wouldn't recommend this firm to anyone unless ur ready to give them all ur money and go to prison!1 he really ' took out money and didn't do anything for us and had the nerve to go on vacation with the money and kept passing the court dates paid this man $500 dollars for depos!1 then tried to charge another $9,500 this firm is soooo money hungry and is not gonna get nuthin done!w but send you to prison he literally cancelled depos after we paid him we fired him and went and got someone that is working and you can reach their firm anytime and have the attorney personal cell number!not took us the longest to even get lee cell number he hardly answered always screening the calls and the secretary is very unprofessional and very disrespectful People do ur home work before you just give ur money away to someone that's not gonna fight just took the money didn't even really start working until like 3 months after being hired. All of the above is true and this was a family member who experienced it.
