If you are trying to figure out Medicaid on your own, just stop right now and call Amy Dow! I tried for months to figure out Medicaid long term care for my mother and kept hearing a different story with every phone call. So time consuming and got nowhere!! I finally called Amy and my life literally calmed down! She guided me through everything and did even more than I asked or expected. Her team of experts are so knowledge and sort through all the nonsense out there! Anita, one of her amazing specialists, guided me through every step, submitted all of the paperwork for me and made the phone calls I dreaded. One thing that was so comforting is that they call or email you back immediately. I appreciated that so much! Don't go to him for consultation. He doesn't care about your legal issues; all he cares what is in it for him. It supposed to be consultation for my legal question, instead I listened his issues how to get or not client for his business.

Amy did a great job at helping me set up a trust and apply for Medicaid for my father. She went OUT OF HER WAY to help me and was very responsive during the entire process. This review comes late but it is well worth the effort. Amy has been our lawyer for many years now and each year she out does herself. My husbands aunt is in a nursing home and with Amy's help Medicaid was covering the bill. When it was time to reapply for Medicaid last year, my husband got diagnosed with Cancer. Understandably, we ignored Amy's reminders that we had to file for the new year. Unfortunately, the home applied for us. The bill went up 700 dollars. The increase was being paid from her small trust. Although my husband was getting Chemo, I contacted Amy. She and her staff understood and went to work to correct this. After a few months the price went down and her Medicaid payment was enough to cover the home expense again. Thanks to Amy and her staff, her trust wont run out that quickly. The next part of this review speaks about Amy's personality. Not only is she an excellent lawyer but she excels as a person. We live in another state and most of our contact has been by phone or text. Every and I mean every contact was started with "how is your husband". A gracious conversation occurred before any business was spoken. Lawyers do not always have a good reputation but how often do you find a lawyer who is excellent at her work and also kind and compassionate. Amy, thank you from the bottom of my heart. P.S. Amy and her staff were very accommodating. They took their time to communicate with us and guide us thru the process. Amy made some suggestions from her experiences that we implemented. She took my phone calls and responded timely to my emails. Her staff were very responsive at all times. Amy is a true professional and sensitive to the needs of others.

This in't a review, it's a public service announcement. Before my case was completed, I told my wife that if the process actually went through as it's seemed like it might... it would the best experience I've ever had with any organization or attorney. SOO rare to have an organization represent the process and their work as something and then discover it unfolded exactly as they described. Despite my anxiety and general concern over the process, the team was always calming and kind and took as much time as I needed to feel comfortable and accept the process without unnecessary skepticism. Amy and her staff are simply amazing! My husband was unexpectedly put on hospice care. I called the office and Amy went right into action to get important legal and medical papers drawn up. She emailed everything I needed that day. She made provision for the papers to be signed and notarized in my home. Amy provided all the necessary people to be at my house at a designated time. Everything was taken care of within 24-36 hours. Everyone connected to this endeavor were so very nice, thoughtful, helpful, sympathetic, efficient, knowledgeable and very caring. Amy and her staff got everything done that needed to be taken care of and they did it in record time. They did it with a positive attitude and a willingness to alleviate a burden at such a difficult time. Amy...the BEST! I am forever thankful and grateful for you!!
