Wonderful experience getting estate planning documents updated.

Amy prepared several legal documents for my parents. She was remarkably responsive, and patiently addressed our concerns and questions. I highly recommend her!

Amy knows her stuff! She is kind and understands the needs of her elder clients, present and potentially in the future. You can tell that she truly is looking out for their best interests. If you want it done correctly, thoroughly, and with compassion, I believe Amy is the right attorney.

Amy Dow is the definition of what an attorney should be. Thorough and concise dotting all the "I"'s and crossing all the "T"'s. Her knowledge of the current statutes, etc. regarding estate planning enabled us to expand our product to be more inclusive and meaningful. She also has the ability to explain all the legal jargon in simple English. I highly recommend Amy.

Amy explained everything to us in simple non-lawyer terms, ensuring we understood everything. She was so thorough and patient, taking into account my father’s Alzheimers condition. I never thought I would say this about an attorney, but I feel like Amy undercharged us for all the work she did, especially when I compare her to the big fancy law firm we used prior to moving to Florida! When our son turned 18, we realized that, regardless of the fact that we still finance his every move, we would be left in the dark if, G-d forbid, we needed to talk to a doctor or a hospital if he were incapacitated. We went to Amy and she drew up several important papers for us, including a power of attorney and an advanced care directive. She explained everything clearly and in terms that we (including our son) understood. I most highly recommend Amy Dow and would use her again.

Amy Dow is really about helping to inform the families of the elderly about what they need to know, the steps required and what to expect as you delve into care options in Florida. This is an awfully intricate process and I found that Amy and Carolyn were informed, well connected in this arena and also well thought of as they came recommended from different sources. The cost for the assistance was very reasonable as I had priced this in different states both for the Medicaid application process and for the updating of POA and related documentation for the Florida requirements.

Amy Dow is great at what she does and enjoys explaining what the law is about to those of us who now need some assistance in preparing legal documents for our golden years and for our future heirs. i highly recommend her and you will see what i mean when she sits down with you to offer her guidance and advise.

I met Amy when she spoke at an at Emunah Women’s meeting about the importance estate planning. It was particularly important, she said, for northerners who now live in Florida to update their documents to reflect the specific Florida laws. As a New Yorker who had recently declared Florida residency, this rang a bell. When I called Amy, she came to our residence and explained all the ins and outs of Florida estate planning. She was very patient, explaining everything well. She then drew up the documents, which my husband and I signed. When the process was over, we both had a feeling of relief that we would now be properly prepared for the future.
