Our Bank invited us to have our “ Last Will “ reviewed by Ms. Collette K. Meyer, ESQ. of Meyer Law Firm, in Jupiter , Florida, several years ago… Since we are Permanent Residents of the United States a different set of rules apply to us. Ms. Meyer, reviewed our “ Last Will “ set up by another Lawyer which we paid for and discovered, that what we needed for our special situation under US Law is not reflected in this Will at all. We ask for a TRUST and received a Will, which goes through Probate. What a surprise. We had an initial meeting with Ms. Meyer to discuss the details of what we wanted in this “ TRUST “. After that, additional meetings with reviews of the TRUST took place in her office. Along the way we met several members of her team. We were always treated with courtesy, respect & professionalism when visiting the Law Firm. Ms. Meyer contacted the Brokerage Houses by mail on our behalf to make the necessary changes on each account according with the Trust . We , of course are very pleased with the final document which was produced by the Meyer Law Firm , knowing we are in good hands is a good feeling, and that our TRUST is set up according with our last wishes. I am a Pennsylvania attorney and I retained her to handle my father's Florida ancillary estate in Florida. You must be a Florida licensed attorney to handle a Florida estate. All she needed to do was probate the will and file a deed to transfer realty from decedent to beneficiary and then close the estate. After many months and thousands in fees she finally managed to probate the will which should take about 1/2 hour of work. I fired her. Extremely frustrating and expensive experience and I am an attorney. She deserved zero stars

I only wish I had read the earlier Google review. I am also out of state and Colette was recommended to me by an attorney I work with in New York. She was responsive to my first call and quick to send a contract to help me with a quite urgent and messy situation. Once the contract was signed, her sense of urgency and attention faded fast. No resolution at all - only aggravation and a bill for $900. Go elsewhere. Chuck is right - should have zero stars.
