After trying to handle the Polk County case on my own we kept ending up with no progress. After years of nothing changing Laura has been able to make huge strides in a short time. She gave me her personal cell number and is always reachable directly via call, email or text. During our first strategy call she was already extremely familiar with my case. She offered her opinions and expert advice citing the laws and rules that would fit my situation. There are some things I didn't want to hear such as having to try mediation again but she informed me that we have to be sure to follow the right protocols if we want the right results. I will update my review after the case is closed, but wanted to share with others struggling with a Polk County or nearby case that Laura is more than an attorney and has truly been advocating for me from the start. She even moved her entire schedule to be available for a hearing that had already been scheduled with short notice. She was ready to hit the ground running and I can't recommend her enough. Anyone who has written a bad review about her is obviously upset she represented the opposing party, or wishes she hadn't told them the reality of their legal matter. An attorney can only do what is legal and not everyone likes to be told what they don't want to hear. Laura has been a lifesaver already and I'm so grateful she was willing to take my case on. Laura has been my Legal counsel going on 3 years now. I sought Ms Vittletoe out; after my original attorney had left my divorce case unfinished and disappeared. She was VERY PROMPT in replying to my querie. I found her and her staff to be both informative and helpful. She took over immediately and had to wade through hundreds of documents to straighten out the mess from the previous attorney which she did with a purpose. I am now legally divorced and it took her one week to do what someone else refused to finish in a years time! She was both courteous knowledgeable and very compassionate. I would highly recommend her to anyone I am so very thankful that she represented me. And after learning of my financial issues she was willing to work with me which is some thing nowadays that is practically unheard of.

She communicates thru email often when you have questions and phone as needed, she doesn't tell you what you want to hear but tells you what you need to hear because she listens to you and you feel heard not rushed. She works for your rights and she stands strong in court. Her secretary is always kind and helpful and Laura's rates are reasonable. We got our money's worth and we got what we paid for. Laura has represented me for many years in an on-going, extremely high-conflict custody action. She goes out of her way to make personal contact, explain things clearly from a legal and individual perspective and gives realistic guidance rather than typical attorney "lip service". She has worked with me on fees in exponential ways without ever sacrificing quality of service. One of the things I value most about her representation is that she stays up-to-date on case law and changes in legislation, so she is always able to bring fresh and relevant approaches to any situation that comes up in my case (and there have been many).
