It is without hesitation that I recommend Mr. Joseph Manzo as an attorney. Mr. Manzo defended me in a somewhat unusual civil defamation lawsuit in which I was one of a number of defendants, and for which I needed to retain an attorney in New Jersey although I reside in Colorado. It was therefore necessary for all communications to take place via telephone or email, but this restriction did not hinder the working relationship at all. Mr. Manzo always took the time to explain everything I needed to know and fully answered all my questions regardless of how trivial they might have been. The successful defense in my case centered around knowledge of the court rules that the plaintiffs attempted to ignore or skirt around on several occasions. Mr. Manzo was always prepared to handle these events as his knowledge of the civil courts rules was never lacking, and he was always aware of the deadlines for court filings. Mr. Manzo kept a good working relationship with the attorneys representing the other defendants in the case; this resulted in a number of joint filings that were crucial for the defense. His experience as a Certified Public Accountant was also invaluable.
