Don’t call back! Left me in limbo.

STAY AWAY! My family paid $20K for a lawsuit that never made it to court in 2 years with them. They just wanted to bill us and delay it for the easy money. Do Not Use Them!

My wife and I traveled to Leesburg to assist our aunt and uncle with legal matters. We were under significant time constraints and everyone at the Hunt Law firm pitched in and got everything accomplished. Ashley and all of the staff were very helpful and kind, we appreciate everything they did for our family.

I am only giving 1 star because I cannot give ZERO, which is what Mr. Hunt and this practice deserves. Wanted a standard trust for the house, will, and medical "pull the plug" authorization. Basic boilerplate document that they have for EVERYBODY, and all they do is basically add the names and address. I stressed to Mr. Hunt himself that we wanted the executor to get paid $10,000 extra for handling everything after we were gone. "Oh sure, no problem, we can do that". Get a call, paperwork is done, and we go to sign at about 15 minutes before close. Stacks of paper to sign, notarize, and have witnessed. Had to pay for the balance, 1300 dollars. We both felt a little rushed, and certainly could not read and digest ALL the documents presented before us in only 15 minutes. I specifically asked if the 10K executor fee was added as discussed, and the answer was, from Mr. Hunt himself, "Yes, we did put that in place for you." OK, started signing, the notary and witnesses doing their thing, and we walked out with a full binder of paper. Lo and behold, when we read the documents, the ONLY item I had asked for was not there. Instead of a number for the executor, the verbiage was something like "a fair and equitable amount". Called The Hunt Law firm FIVE TIMES, once a week, telling them my concern and request each time, and actually stopped in after the FIFTH call, and here is what I heard each week. "Office Manager" Didn't you read it before you signed it? I will pass this along to the team I will let Mr Hunt know about this. He is aware of this and is addressing the request. I will make sure he gets this *actual visit* met with a very pleasant young woman at the front desk. She stated that she "would let him know and make sure that this is taken care of." By the way, I NEVER received a follow up call from ANYBODY at this firm! Another 1 or 2 weeks go by, and still nothing, so my next call was to my credit card company to dispute the charges. OK, NOW I get a call from Mr Hunt asking "what can we do to make this right? So what I did, and this may be petty, was I ignored the call. I thought once they have called ME 5 times with no response, maybe JUST MAYBE they would understand what I went through being completely ignored. However, they gave up after the second or third call. They did respond to my credit card, and ultimately they won because I did have the documents, and I did sign them, which is on me. I mean, who really reads the terms and conditions of anything that they see? Quick signature, yes, I agree, and away you go. My issue is that I SPECIFICALLY asked the question if the Executor was going to get compensated for a defined dollar amount, and the answer from the man with his name on the building was "YES"

Very nice staff & Attorneys. Considerably less expensive than other firms in the area and more informative. Highly recommend using them. I did a trust, will & etc.

They were extremely helpful revising my last will & testament with thorough explanations.

Call up, explain my needs, yes they can help me. Walk in early. " fill this out and give me your $300.00. Ushered me in a room, young guy walks in. No hi, no introduction, no hand shake. He starts asking me questions, and I said, I'm sorry, you are who? Ashley Hunt. Result is your imagination.

Ashley Hunt has been a great asset to our business. I would highly recommend him and his staff. Very knowledgeable friendly and easy to work with!
