I can’t possibly say enough about how well my case was handle by Billie Jo and her staff. They took all my questions seriously (even when I was being, shall we say… challenging) and responded to each and every one of them. Billie Jo was there for me through some very difficult situations with my child and my ex and was always an advocate for what was the right thing to do. As emotions run quite high during this process I sometimes wanted what I couldn’t have. Billie Jo is very straight forward and to the point and extremely adept at her profession. If you want someone that will wrap everything in sunshine and rainbows and simply tell you what you want to hear instead of what you need to hear you may want to look elsewhere. If you want someone that will fight for you (and your children) every step of the way, you won’t do better than Billie Jo.

I hired Ms Hopwood this year, 2016, to help me settle an alimony case with a very unpredictable ex. Billie Jo was very up front and honest about probable outcomes through several very stressful events that transpired throughout the process. I always felt she and I worked together to solve each event to my benefit. She represented me in a most professional and personal manner. We shared our thoughts and opinions openly and were able to successfully prevent extra costs of a trial by settling for a more reasonable alimony amount. I have grown to trust and appreciate her and the support staff at the law firm.

I recently retained Ms. Hopwood for my divorce. She was extremely down to earth yet very knowledgeable. She let me lead the way and helped me accomplish what I wanted in a very short period of time. Very responsive; I never felt like just another number. I recommend her to everyone I know who could use her legal services.

Billie is fantastic…I am very happy with my case. My situation needed an attorney that understood my ex’s complex personality and how to manage the situation. I needed someone tough and competent...that is exactly what I found in Billie! She provided excellent guidance and did not 'milk' my time in any way; the fees were reasonable and never overcharged (believe me, I paid very close attention to the bills). The first attorney I had did a terrible job with my divorce/parenting plan which is extremely difficult to fix after-the-fact. Billie was successful in fixing all of the problematic parenting issues, thank goodness! Time with my kids is the most important thing. Ms. Hopwood was my attorney during my custody case. She far exceeded any expectations that I had before meeting her.
