White Bird Law is effective, efficient, and understands the laws in depth. Their communication is honest, open and up front. No nonsense and reliable. My case was a mess due to my own avoidant strategies and an initial legal team from another firm that did not support, educate, inform or provide the needed services. We have had two experiences with WhiteBird Law and have been ecstatic with the results on both occasions. First my wife and I went thru the process of updating our Will and Trust documents. Amanda Smith was our attorney from WhiteBird and she was more than excellent. Very professional, very knowledgeable, and the end product was very well done. She covered all the bases and made sure we were fully informed and well taken care of. My second experience was for similar work for my elderly parents. Again, the service and product were excellent, and she made my somewhat nervous parents feel comfortable and at ease, taking extra time with them to make sure they understood and that all their wishes were addressed in the documents. All of the staff at WhiteBird were kind, pleasant and courteous with them, and again the end product was excellent. They walked my parents thru every step and made it easy for them. We highly recommend WhiteBird Law and Amanda to anyone needing estate planning services and/or superior legal counseling.

Amanda Smith was appointed by the court to represent my mother, who was a victim of financial abuse and physical neglect - however, she chose to side with the abuser, and did absolutely nothing to protect my then 95 year old mother. When I suggested a forensic accounting be done to see exactly how much money was stolen from my mom Amanda said, do you know how expensive that would be? Like 10K! She then turned around and gave my mom a bill for nearly 25K for her 'services', no accounting done and getting no closer to the truth. She did nothing to protect a vulnerable elder when she was supposed to protect her and her interests. The good ol' boys network is alive and well in Brevard County, as Amanda and a lawyer for the abuser had previously worked together for 8 years, and the opposing lawyer went to work for Amanda's firm during the case. The guardianship system in Brevard County is an incestuous mess that mostly serves to fund the legal machine - my mother's former lawyer Dale Dettmer, who I had warned of the theft for years, is now a partner at WhiteBird Law! Birds of a feather flock together. They simply do not care to do their job, only care to enhance their own wallets. I had to go outside of the county to find a lawyer who did want to do what he was hired for, and my mother is finally starting to see justice. How much better at her advanced age if she didn't have to wait 3 years? As a lawyer pal from high school said, they're waiting for her to die. It's a shameful corrupt system not just in Florida but around the country. We need to do better by our elders, who deserve our utmost care and protection, not continue to be fleeced by the system that's supposed to be helping them.

I have done very few reviews in my many years in business. Recently we had an urgent matter requiring a great deal of communication in a very short time. Brad and Larissa were terrific, answering calls and emails mostly within minutes. I don’t think anyone could have helped us more efficiently. We have used Whitebird Law multiple times in the past 2 years. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I'm not sure who left that negative comment but gotta say my experience with this firm has been nothing but positive. My dad passed away and they are very thorough and knowledgeable regarding the whole process. The front office staff to melissa to the primary lawyer was very informative with estate. Wills and general process and have been always communicating with me anytime I call. I had them coordinating probate,accounting and investments he had and everyone was on the same page. I, so far have no complaints and would recommend the group to anyone I know. Since they opened the new practice I can only testify to this group I had no experience when there was a partner involved. I feel confident in having them set up my will since my parents was iron clad. I got the probate documentation handled fast and was able to move on during the difficult time.
