I was arrested for a non violent civil disobedience action when the city of Fort Lauderdale decided to ban feeding homeless people in public where they live. During the course of my arrest my cash was taken by the jailers and I was given a debit card with transaction fees attached. This turns out to be a violation of my civil rights. Lance Weber and the team from the Human Rights Defense Center in Lake Worth Florida challenged this and won. I recieved a cash settlement in compensation for this injustice. I couldn't be happier with my lawyers in this case. They worked hard and long to right this injustice and the case was settled to my great satisfaction. These attorneys aren't just great lawyers, they are great people working for the rights of individuals and against the exploitation of those who happen to find themselves in such a situation. Faith in humanity restored and a nice cash award recieved. Thank you Lance and your co_council for you great efforts. I will always remember you for bringing me a feeling that sometimes justice is served to the little guy. Keep up the good work. Together we may be able to make this system more equitable for everyone and rid these systems of the exploitation that is rife within them!

Lance represented our non-profit organization when we accidentally fell afoul of the Attorney General's paperwork requirements. He defended us pro bono and took care of the matter in a professional way that kept us out of court, with no fines. I would recommend Lance to anyone who needs a good defense!
