Terrible communication, representation from Jason Downs. The whole process was a WASTE of money with NO HELP. I should’ve used a public defender. Jason, karma.

My wife and I have been living in Melbourne for over 10 years. It's a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. During the month of May my next-door neighbor sold his house. We greeted this person and even helped with some of his landscaping since he didn't have any lawn equipment. I had also informed this neighbor that the fence which runs along the property line was in severe deterioration and ask if he wanted to share the expense. At first he seemed reasonable then when I approached him to discuss getting prices, he became very aggressive and belligerent. And even complained to some of our neighbors. My wife and I decided to foot the bill for the fence after getting all the surveys completed and having the construction approved by the HOA. Once this was completed our fence contractor came in and ran a string-line that designated the property lines. the fence would then be constructed 4-5 inches inside the property line on our side. The neighbor went ahead and sabotages the line by cutting it down and this is when this neighbor became unruly. End result is there was a stand-off at the fence where he was video taping my wife and I doing lawn maintenance and I confronted him by taking away his cell phone, I was arrested. I contacted Jason Downs who reviewed our case and after much investigation and Jason's expertise to showed evidence that not only is this person unstable but repeatedly pulls stunts like this from his previous address. My case was dismissed, and my wife and I are forever grateful for Jason's support. I would recommend Jason's firm to anyone who has ever unfortunately had to deal with circumstances like this.
