When I moved to Florida 2 years ago, I needed to hire an attorney to draw up a revocable living trust to conform with Florida's legal requirements. Attorney Alec K. Prentice was recommended by friends. Mr. Prentice first reviewed my goals during a free consultation. He walked me through the process and suggested the best path to take in developing the trust. He also furnished me an out line to follow and covered the fees needed to complete the document. Mr. Prentice then reviewed the draft he developed to answerer any concerns I might have making sure I understood all the legal terminology. Mr. Prentice even wrote down the directions to all the various offices I would need to visit to obtain county and state necessary paperwork to accompany the final draft. Once the final document was completed Mr. Prentice filed the notarized document with the proper authorities. Included in the fee for the revocable trust were my updated power of attorney, last will and testament, living will declaration and designation of health care surrogate and Hipaa release authorization. Mr. Prentice has continued to support my legal needs by working with my old attorney in Virginia to file a "Deed to Trustee of Revocable Inter Vivos Trust" which designates my executor authority to act on my behalf after my death to assign the deposition of my property (home) in Virginia to whom they elect. This effort on Mr. Prentices behalf was at no fee for his work. I truly can say Mr. Prentice is trusted, honest and very professional. He is a true fiend. .

Alec helped my mother with her will and estate paperwork. Alec also prepare a Trust Estate Plan for me and my husband. We were also comfortable coming to see Alec for asset protection advice w/ regard to my father. I will be recommending Alec to my friends & co-workers for their Estate Planning & Elder Law needs.
