I was a recent transplant to South Florida--been here only 6 weeks--when I got in serious trouble with the law. I was charged with DUI and, frighteningly, felony drug possession for having some my girlfriend’s pain pills on me when at arrest. After spending 42 hours in a Dade County jail, and $6,000 in bail money to get released, the seriousness of my situation was crystal clear. What wasn’t clear to me, however, was how I would even begin to fight the unfair charges that could have put me in prison for several years. I was scared. That left the DUI, which we targeted for trial. Although a DUI is minor compared to the felony, it still can cause serious lasting damage. And a DUI conviction is expensive. Very. After several court appearances, the DUI charge was also dismissed. My legal outcomes could not have been better! I hope never again to face the legal system as a criminal defendant. However, if I ever again need a reliably excellent attorney, I will definitely call Seda Aktas.

I needed a criminal defense attorney in South Florida to defend me and my mother against allegations by our [mentally disturbed] neighbor that lives below us in our vacation condominium in Fort Lauderdale. The neighbor constantly complains of noise even when we aren’t in the unit or in the state. Ms. Aktas had an anwer to every question I had I was very confused with the whole process and she took the time to call me after hours and explain everything, in 2 days she was more prepared than my previous lawyer who was on the case for weeks. The odds were completey against my fiance it was his 4th probation violation with a judge who was notoriously harsh but she was able to sway the prosecution and the judge and he was home the next day. Not only did she get great results for us in court but she also waved the rest of my payment she was literally our shes everything we prayed for and we couldnt have hoped for a better outcome.

Seda Aktas destroyed the United States prosecutor along with the Federal DEA task force, in a 2 year investigation ultimately leading to an entire Molly drug trafficking organization, comprised of multiple facets including a worldwide overseas distributor! A grand Jury Indicted me and I was arrested in April 2015 at which time I had a different lawyer on retainment who advised me that it was in my best interest to sign a Plea Agreement with the government facing a 10 year Plea with a possibility of a reduction to around 7 years if I signed and followed through with FULL cooperation. So I searched the internet and found Seda Aktas. EVEN after my previous lawyer had made a request for a trial continuance which resulted in a filing mistake at the time of transitioning lawyers and which left Seda Aktas with ONLY two weeks to prepare for this massive Federal Drug Conspiracy trial. In which time she kept me constantly updated within minutes of new information arriving, As well as going out of her way just for personal check up calls to reassure my state of mind and free me of any possible questions bouncing through my head to keep us both on the same wavelength! Although there was a staggering amount of first hand witness testimonies coming from 5 key individuals from within the drug trafficking organization that testified against me, to include the leader of the organization who was referred to as a kingpin by DEA who implicated me as the Kingpins second in command. Seda was FEARLESS in her courtroom mannerisms during all cross examinations, never missing a word to use against them! Also I realized the sense of calm and confidence she unknowingly instilled in me with her extremely professional, trusting and utmost determined demeanor carried in the courtroom during all three days of trial. The Jury had to have found her as refreshingly knowledgeable, trusting and undeniably better at putting the right pieces of the puzzle together forming a well articulated defense. I was found NOT guilty as a result of her and her alone! I truly believe no other attorney would have cared as deeply as her and actually dug to get justice with such a bleak outlook.
