I have worked with Janet and her team several times over the last nine years on different trademark matters and each time it has been a pleasure to work with them. She's extremely knowledgeable and has always taken the time to answer all my questions (and I've had a lot throughout the years). I can't recommend her and the firm enough.

A firm that on its main page writes "Our firm is different by design. Together with our clients, we have a deep understanding of the intersection of law, culture, and corporate success." As you can see it's different by design and the focus law and a culture, but not the client. Could be. But where I come from when looking for a firm you need an attorney that will look out for you and serve you as the client with the best interest. Unfortunately, my experience with Caldera has been one where I as a client didn't seem to matter. I tried several times to give them another chance and literally told them to look at their customer service and see what I mean. Businesses go far when they build reputation and focus on retaining customers. I won't go into much detail, but unfortunately we have parted ways and have been sent a disengagement letter. Their time is too expensive on them to just pick up a phone and see what the issue is or how they might improve it. This doesn't come across as a high quality firm. Again, unfortunately, because it pains me to write this review. They could have tried.

Although others have seemed to have a good experience working with Janet Moreira, we unfortunately had quite a different experience and ultimately decided to switch to different representation for our trademark application. Throughout the process, we were not given the information that we needed, and we were provided no guidance. Ms. Moreira also treated us with an overtly dismissive and condescending demeanor. I implore them to rethink how they treat your clientele, as well as better develop the feedback and guidelines they provide to clients. Or perhaps develop really anything at all, since what is currently being provided is basically nothing - except for the invoices of course, which their office seems very adept at providing in a timely and consistent manner. I will say that we’ve had a great experience with Kenneth Gross, who thus far has provided more guidance and information in two days than Caldera did in two years.
