After my mother passed away I was left as the trustee and responsible for making sure that my mother’s wishes were fulfilled. We were looking for a reasonably priced and responsive wills-and-probate attorney in south Miami-Dade County who could revise our outdated 2004 wills. After speaking with and reviewing on-line reviews of about seven such attorneys, we decided to meet with Carl M. Sugarman who is located in the Greenery Mall office building on Kendall Drive and SW 77 Avenue. Mr. Sugarman was cordial at our meeting, was very knowledgeable, and patiently explained all options to us as well as answering our numerous questions; he did not have a lawyer "attitude" and we were very comfortable with him. His wife and son also work with him in a family-type setting which served to increase our level of trust and confidence. The fee he charged us was quite reasonable given that it included both our last wills and testaments as well as durable powers of attorney, designation of health care surrogate documents, and living will declarations. Given the importance of what we had done, we are most pleased with Mr. Sugarman's work and his professional and reassuring demeanor, and we would highly recommend him to others.

I´m in the mortgage industry and back around 1995 to about 2000 I had the pleasure of using Carl Sugarman as a closing agent and although it was several years ago, I can still remember getting great service and having their office do the impossible to get a loan closed on time for us. Recently, we were needing to do some estate planning for my parents and we thought we knew what we needed but we were wrong. We went to see Mr. Sugarman and within 15 minutes he explained that we could do what we thought we needed to do but he offered up a much simpler and less expensive alternative which actually fit our scenario much better. I highly recommend Mr. Sugarman for any real estate closing transactions and any estate planning you or your family may need. He is a very kind, soft spoken and just a very easy to deal with individual.
