I contacted Mr. Kaufman 4 yrs ago to help me with my divorce case. I researched countless attorneys and seeing his excellent reviews, made appointment, met him and his staff, and hired him. Mr. Kaufman is aggressive, transparent, compassionate and extremely fair. He will tell you what you need to hear even if you don't like it, but thank God for him because he took my case from the beginning to end with every high and low; won my case and when the case was reopened by ex-husband immediately reached out, offered his help and again made sure I received not only what is fair but what I am rightfully entitled to. I love Mr. Kaufman and his staff for being the help I needed when I felt like I couldn't help myself. Hands down, I highly recommend his services and will forever be grateful. I was looking for an attorney to hire to help me enforce my parenting plan. I was between two attorneys and the reason I went ahead with Mr. Steven D. Kaufman was he told me from the beginning exactly what he wanted to do with my case. I felt, comparing to the other attorney I spoke to previously, he was the one with more experience and the only attorney to describe how he will approach my case. In addition, Mr. Kaufman was always available through text message/phone call. This was very surprising, but it made me feel he was always ready to speak on my case and give me the best legal advice possible. Let me start by saying I had consulted other lawyers about my divorce before I decided to hire Mr. Kaufman as my lawyer. He was referred to me by a friend and I am so glad I found this lawyer at such a complicated stage in my life. From the first consultation, he makes you feel comfortable and he actually listens to what you have to say, unlike other lawyers that feel entitled. I feel like the process was fast and easy. Obviously, depending on your case time might vary but nonetheless, he makes you feel at ease. Communication between you and your lawyer is key in these type of situations and Mr. Kaufman was definitely there all the time. He would reply to emails and phone calls fast. He was even available on the weekends! I would really recommend you hire him to assist you with your divorce and separations. His staff is also very nice and attentive.
