A horrible experience and would NEVER recommend or trust John Truitt OR Chris Vernon to watch over a plant in my absence! I hired John Truitt to litigate a probate issue with the mindset that part of his resume as a prosecuting attorney, he would be comfortable in the courtroom! Once I gave the $5000 retainer (that I never rightfully got back), my destiny was determined by him and opposing council to eventually end up in the mediation I BEGGED for a grueling 2 years and 8 months! Most unpredictable, unprofessional lawyer I have ever dealt with!! I was billed $300 plus per hour to realize John was more interested in looking at his cell phone to check his stocks on my billed time, than my issue at hand! I was lied to aboutt cancelled hearings, yelled at & verbally abused for asking WHY he was late having to hand deliver documents (at my expense). The guidelines for this rreview make it ddifficult for anything but insult to John Truitt and Chris Vernon's interest in billing me, more than their in upholding my husband's will and ttrust, costing me several thousand unnecessary dollars, as well as losing our $200,000 condo in mediation, at that point, just to alleviate the physical health issues brought forth by John's lack of assertation to obtain hearing dates! It was transparent my destiny would be to mediate, rather than the horrible experience I will definitely be holding him responsible for, reporting to the FL Bar Association & BBB to hopefully prevent anyone from going through the expense and roller coaster of emotions leading to physical conditions & taking every bit of dignity and money one should EVER have t to endure after the retainer is paid, (and not legally given back, detailed as ""trust application", when no such service was provided! Frankly put, just the facts: They stole my $5000 retainer, lied, and DID NOT FINISH THE JOB! I had to hire another attorney to clean up his mess, and to date, John will not return his calls or cooperate to let the new attorney know why he didn't complete the case or why he "dropped the ball"! VERY unprofessional, lazy, and strange! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND & can't understand how this organization could receive any more than a one star review! So sad!

Chris is outstanding! I had calls out to several attorney's and Chris called me back not once but twice. Even though it was not a case Chris could take himself he referred me to an outstanding attorney that could help. It gets no better than that! Thanks Chris!
