I had a handful of issues, nobody seemed very organized and did not make me feel comfortable about what was going on because nobody kept me up to date, I had to reach out to them multiple times. I dealt with a handful of staff because the people orginally on my case were no longer there, therefore it was as if nobody had caught up from the last person or latest information.

I can't be thankful enough to Alex and staff for the fabulous job they done with my case, helping me out and keeping me calm thru this whole process that took over year to come to and end ,but at the end the impossible was possible,I'm very happy with the outcome

Im not sure where to begin...I have been a client of Alex Peterson and team for nearly three years. My particular case in Collier county is somewhat infamous with lots of twists and turns, tears, surprises, and moments of joy and clarity. As my children were thrown into quite a disaster of a divorce and a battle, at times all I could do was pray and trust my steadfast counsel. One by One my girls have become adults and our lives have been a true story of perseverance and love. The opposition gave everyone including Judges (I would bet) lets say, more than heartburn. Alex and his team, particularly Jenna Ritter are real life hero's. They truly do put Family First and beyond being technically brilliant and very well respected and they absolutely care. The time, the patience, planning, professionalism, and preparation is unmatched and I have had a run with big name hot shot attorney's in my day and in this case:) There is not a group I would rather have in my corner. Now that my case has come to an end I can honestly say, they saved us! If I could make a full time career out of shouting their praises and sharing my story in the hopes to give another family confidence that Family First is the right choice for any family law need, I would surely do so. All my appreciation and gratitude to everyone at Family First (and I forgot to mention Katie, she is lovely). There are not enough words to describe how helpful, organized and knowledgeable Mr. Alex Peterson and his very talented team of lawyers and paralegals are and how easy they navigated what felt like a very complex divorce case. Divorce is a painful, emotional, financial and life changing event, I was very relieved to find a firm that understood how I felt and not only provide legal assistance, but they literally were like family members guiding and grounding me about the best way to go about the process. My case was complex. I live out of state and was not able to attend personally most meetings and court events. This was a challenge on its own, but dealing with remote parental responsibilities, assets, and an international business added even more complexity to my case. Attorney Gregory and Paralegals Christina, Katie, Paola, Amy, they all were not only super friendly and helpful but very organized and persistent on all the necessary and mandatory procedures and communication needed to keep moving on. It’s worth mentioning that initially I was trying to save resources by representing myself. However, it came to a point where I was in a battle I didn’t know how to handle so I took the advice of a good friend and decided to pay for Family First services. After 4 months of a legal battle, 2 mediations and representation at court mandated events, the total bill never exceeded what other lawyers were charging to even get to mediation. I also received a monthly statement of all the expenses related to paralegal and attorney time use, looking back now at the series of events that took place, there is absolutely no way I was going to make it on my own, especially after what the legal battle turned out to be. I see it now as a small investment that saved me of a very long season of financial hardship. At the end we were able to come to a favorable distribution of assets, a common-sense child support payment and remote parenting plan that was made to work for my kids and me. Even though divorce is a life changing event, there is no one I would recommend more than Family First to handle it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Alex and the rest of the Team, you guys are honest, organized and very professional people. I appreciate it.
